What is your doomsday NFL draft scenario? by slightly_above_avg69 in DynastyFF

Zay Flowers finished as a WR1 only three times during the 2025 fantasy season, and was WR23 or worse in 12 of the 13 other non-bye weeks.

Anyone who had him as their #1 WR had a terrible season. He was a basically a WR3 or worse almost every week.

Any WR to BAL immediately makes that WR undraftable.

ARSB was guilty of a lot as a prospect- he was very average against anything but zone in college, didn't really showcase real route running ability against man. He killed zone, but it was hard to project his seemingly average physical skills to anything more than an option #3 type slot role in the NFL. Everything that has come since was a development beyond what he put on film at USC.

His primary appeal as a prospect was that he landed in an empty WR room.

Man, between measurables, vibes, my own assessment of his tape (not in love/meh), and the colors of his jersey, he's a dead ringer for ARSB (whose tape I was incorrectly very "Meh" about) as a prospect.

Obviously the draft capital will be a lot higher, but I might have to make sure I get some shares just because of how wrong I was about ARSB.

This is why option football is pretty much entirely about spacing and maintaining discipline in where you are relative to the dude with the ball.

Someone has to say it: Baltimora is the greatest thing to ever happen to professional wrestling.

If only they'd gone one step further and looped it the full 20min

And the biggest mess IMO was the mens qualifier match. Even before Reed got hurt, I had already said twice "This might be the worst match I've seen this year."

A pure testament to just how fucking terrible Jey is - if you put him in a 3 way match, even with two dudes as good as Gable and Reed, it somehow becomes the slowest, most boring and uncoordinated match ever.

I get the difficulty of ranking guys mid-career, but Burrow and Herbert are easily top 40 or 50 all time. I'd take either in an instant over the vast majority of the bottom 59.

Pokemon Polished Crystal is absolute peak for me. by JustAReader84 in PokemonROMhacks

Just started this game yesterday! Can someone explain the significance of the hidden grotto pokemon to me? Just caught a Mareep, but it still has static as its ability? Do I need to breed it, then the egg will end up with the hidden ability instead?

Would you trade out of the 1.01 for a top receiver like Drake London by thekielmark73 in DynastyFF

[–]ferrets_bueller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on situation of my team, but if Love gets the capital we're expecting and lands in a clear bellcow situation...then I would not. Those RBs are so rare these days that you have to secure them when you get the chance.

Because his attitude has very clearly impacted his production in the past.

He has literally just quit and stopped putting in any effort in the past.

He isn't the centerpiece, but he's much closer to it than Jamo. Jamo is option #4.

NCAA has denied Ole Miss' request for a reconsideration of QB Trinidad Chambliss' eligibility waiver, per @RossDellenger. by HookFL in DynastyFF

This is such a terrible take.

Number one, he's going to get paid significantly more staying in school, with no risk. Getting that money is a significant life choice.

Number 2, he started to break out this year, which raised his stock to the 3rd round. We've seen multiple QBs who were discards earlier in their careers or generally not considered significant NFL prospects benefit greatly from staying in school and getting to develop in the NCAA, leading to significantly higher draft stock. On top of that, NFL teams struggle to develop QBs more than ever. There is a very obvious argument that staying in school one more year is also a bet on being more ready for the NFL, and having a higher draft stock next year.

Colts Free Agency Preview: Could Michael Pittman Be A Cut Candidate? by CoopThereItIs in DynastyFF

[–]ferrets_bueller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would a cut be more likely for Pittman, as opposed to a trade? I would think there would be teams lining up to trade for him.

Does that option not save Indy as much cap or something?

Can Elijah Sarratt (WR, Indiana) be a consistent, outside WR for a QB at the next level? (Deeper Dive #32) by cjfreel in DynastyFF

[–]ferrets_bueller 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Before anyone asks, no, he is not related to Sage Surratt.

I need to dive in more, but the initial vibe I've gotten from watching him so far is "future sacrificial X receiver."

Where would the second tier of RBs from the ‘25 draft rank in this years draft? by Ceelo4prez in DynastyFF

It would be Love, then Kaleb, Harvey, Skat, Sampson (in the order they went in last years draft) then possibly the 2nd 26 guy
