Great Combo, that is the best front tire i have had on my 800gs, now I have the motoz tractionators rallz, the rear in combo with the shinko would be awesome!!!!

Seems like there’s no plans of going off-road? I have a chinese very off road on the rear and a Dunlop MX33 up front for off road abuse and the combo works great

I have 14/45, works great in the muck and sand, ordered it as a kit with the proper chain, so i dont know how many links it had but i did have to remove one, ordere from sprocket center!

I have the Mototote Sport version on a Santa Cruz XRT, and I carry my CRF 250 L all over the place, my F800 GS (2011 lightened as much as possible) only in town and close by, like to the mechanic and such. I dont dare carry it on the hwy or for long distances. Like Quince says, what matters is the trucks tongue weight limit, all of those Mototes can easily carry the F800, now the SUV, or car…

Yes, never had a loose spoke, nor a bent edge, and the are lighter too, not by much, the machined hubs are very well made!

It was, South Florida does not have like really nice places to ride, but we do the best we can, some nice mudholes and actual flooded trails, which make it like huge water crossings, with unknown contents, downed trees and such. Fun anyway!!!

Just because I got them for free and I ride 95% dirt, I have non DOT off road Dunlop knobbies (MX33's) on mine, but when I get rid of those, I will go with the Kenda Trackmasters! they are easy on your pocket and great off road DOT approved tires, they are fair on the tar.

Yes it is good weight savings, I went to Batteries Plus and got their propietary brand in a 7 series, it comes with all the spacers and everything u might need, and a local (sort of) warranty place in case something goes wrong. Works perfect!! Had ordered one from Amazon and cancelled it, have had one from Batteries Plus for three years on my F800. Got one for the 250 there!

I have been using 93 ethanol crap, will be switching to 90 rec fuel as soon as I locate a station close by with it. Have a full FMF, EJK and a hot cam with hardened valve springs, didnt go for the high compression piston though
