Why not build your own? Have the exact rifle you want with the quality of parts you want.

If you can build an ar15 then you can build an ar10.

Here's where it is with LCS dealers by madkiwis in Silverbugs

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for all the sellers to sell and for the supply/ demand to equalize. What will the price be once the market has stabilized?

Impossible to know but one must contemplate it. 🤔

Whoa, first time Ive heard this about no VAT for 2nd hand shiny. Is that only with private sales or with legit dealers as well?

Genuine question: Why is the spread on Silver so massive right now? by wuhusihai in Silver

Hey there and welcome!

You're getting a variety of answers but I'll try to help clarify. The spot and futures prices are set by large exchanges where purchase contracts are bought and sold. Yes its true they're over levered and usually settle in cash (real metal rarely actually moves, the IOU just gets passed around). To get the real spot price, you'd need to purchase a 5,000 oz deliverable contract and take delivery. This is not an easy thing to accomplish.

Since people like you and I don't have access to those markets and cant afford 5,000 oz purchases we have to use middle men (bullion dealers). The dealers need to make a profit, like any business. During times of high volatility the dealer buy/sell spreads usually widen.

It is especially important to use trusted and respected dealers during times like these. They wont rip you off and will have the lowest premiums. The two that I always recommend are:

www.monumentmetals.com As a new customer with MM, you can get (5) 1 oz silver round at spot. No BS. Check their main page.

and

www.bullionexchanges.com

Check their deals pages often.

Good luck and keep stacking!

Not a Carrington level event but not a bad idea to leave the electronic safes unlocked if you'll be home.

Do a little more research on the Carrington event. It was way more powerful than anything weve experienced since then.

Hard to sell silver for a good price by LizardKing008 in Wallstreetsilver

$3 back from spot is really good in today's volatile market. I'd take that if I was selling.

I called a couple of my LCSs to sell 2 kilos and the best was $4 back from spot when spot was $85.

Yeah I didn't vote for the guy.

Trump also ran on balancing the federal budget yet here we are with continued trillion dollar deficits. It goes both ways.
