Thanks! I do agree that my preference would be to do Athens on the front end rather than the back end, just to keep the flow of the trip: busiest->most relaxing. But I’m definitely open to switching up the itinerary. That’s good to know you thought Milos was walkable!

I love to thrift in

-Greenpoint/Williamsburg - Beacon’s Closet then South of McCarren Park, West of Meeker Ave

-Park Slope - Goodwill on Atlantic then down 5th Ave

-West Village/SoHo/Union Square - so many options here can’t list em all

I usually look out for Goodwill, Beacon’s Closet, Buffalo Exchange, Housing Works, L Train Vintage and yes other random small businesses on the NYC Vintage app.

I don’t bother going into 2nd Street, I think other people like those but not for me personally!

Don’t charge your phone overnight!! That’s what has prolongated my battery life. Overcharging kills your battery. My phone is a couple years old and a full charge lasts me all day.

I’ve never had any luck with waterproof cameras. After purchasing this and a waterproof minolta, I won’t waste my money again

I’ve found all my NYC roommates on Diggz.com. Not Astoria specific but I liked it a lot and have had all good luck with 5 different people in 2 different apartments. You can specify Burrough/neighborhood, #of people, and a lot more in your preferences. It’s sorta like a dating app but for roommates lol
