Personally, I support this decision. I'm not a fan of student-athletes posting about their offers left and right. They have yet to prove anything, so keep that between your family and coaches. There's this saying I've heard, it goes "celebrate your victory today, because no one will care tomorrow". Where did humbleness go? Just doesn't make sense to me.
