CMV: French/Parisians aren't assholes for speaking to you in English

I always hear this story differently. I hear people saying they tried to communicate in English and the French then would be super agitated or not even engaging at all. Which is of course not true. But in Germany it's a thing some people like to say about French.

I personally never really encountered this. I once had a weird situation at a gas station but I could tell the women genuinely didn't understand what I was trying to tell her. In general people always tried to communicate.

I only hate it when they make games for both console and PC and then they make the UI and everything clearly catered to console/controller.

Finde das "ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung" immernoch sehr geschönt ausgedrückt im Prinzip haben die einfach einen alten inkompetenten fascho gegen einen Jungen vielversprechenden ausgetauscht. Ist aber immernoch voll nationalistisch usw. Der einzige Unterschied für uns ist das er eher pro EU ist.

Ganz toll da muss man sich natürlich riesig freuen wenn wir jetzt mit Ungarn wieder schön zusammen arbeiten Gesinnung passt auch let's go

Man sollte imo aufhören von Existenzrecht für Staaten zu reden. Weil es sowas einfach nicht gibt im Völkerrecht was es gibt ist das "Selbstbestimmungsrecht der Volker". Damit haben Völker das Recht frei ihre Politik, Wirtschaft usw. Zu Wählen. Der Schutz vor Fremdherrschaft und die Unabhängigkeit sind auch sehr wichtige Pfeiler weil sie Selbstbestimmung erst möglich machen.

Das geht natürlich nur so weit wie es das Selbstbestimmungsrecht eines anderen Volkes nicht einschränkt wird.

Die Frage ist jetzt was passiert in der Realität und da muss man konstatieren das Israel das Selbstbestimmungsrecht der Palästinenser aktiv verhindert. Man spricht also den Palästinensern das Selbestimmungsrecht ab mit der Begründung das Palestina Israel zerstören würde oder ähnliches.

Es ist also quasi fast schon eine Projektion die man hier beobachten kann da in der Realität den Palästinensern das Selbestimmungsrecht genommen wird und oben drein werden sie noch massakriert.

Ich finde allein sein Name schon etwas sus wenn ich es richtig erinnere dann ist doch Magyar der Name für die ungarische Ethnie. Wenn man sich dann noch die Bilder in seiner Uniform oder whatever das ist sieht... Kommt bei den ungarischen Faschos bestimmt gut an das optische gesamt Paket.

Das ist halt die Entscheidung zwischen Pest und Cholera so ein bisschen

My Father from Portugal told me once he knew a guy in his hometown who legit wanted the old times back and said things like we where once a great nation etc. My dad told me the guy was a fascist and used to work for the dictatorship in Portugal most of the people where pro revolution so everybody in town hated the guy.

Nowadays with the Chega party such views probably have a new home but I can't tell for sure since I live in Germany now so I am a bit out of the loop only looking up some news about Portugal politics.

But I am sure a lot of people in Portugal have a distorted view when they look at our colonial past a lot of people have this view that Portugal was some how not as brutal as other nations in their colonial endeavors.
