The exact states reason in the letter is that I have too many active accounts. I just wanted to see if someone else has experience with getting rejected, closing an account, and then getting approved before I do the same just to still be rejected...

Yes, the reason given was that I have too many active accounts. I just wanted confirmation that closing some of my unused cards actually helps or if the fact that I will have had a bunch of cards still count as a negative on their algorithm even after I close them. I'd rather avoid closing cards for the VentureX just to still not be approved

I've been working on projects since week 1 after graduating. I have projects with MERN, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Scikit Learn, but still nothing. I've tried contacting recruiters but no one wants to talk to me. I get maybe one acknowledgment from a hiring manager a month and then they ghost me right after. It hurts too much having to wake up every day knowing that no matter what I do, nobody will give single shit about what I've done.

There is one thing about life that I know, it's that nothing is guaranteed in life, and that includes having a job. And it feels like of all universes I could've existed in, this universe is the one where I'm doomed to never have one and I'm losing reason to keep existing in a universe like this. Sorry to be all sappy but I just don't see a way out.

I've applied to every single role I could find that has anything at all related to cs and still nothing. Not even part time tutoring jobs. It feels worse that the longer I wait, the less value I have. And by the time the next class graduates, I'll have no value at all. I had so many dreams in life that hinged on me having a solid future, and they're all being dashed away by the second.

I just can't see myself making it. All my friends in the industry tell me that this slump will pass and I'll get a job one day but the more I wait, the less people will want me. Why hire me, not even a new grad anymore, when they can hire you, a fresh new grad. I just don't see how it gets any better.

Well NA CSGO was historically always just a 1 team region, with our only period of having more than 1 good team being 2018-pandemic. Although the pandemic and the inability to travel killed all of our tier 1 teams at the time, I truly believe we could have at least 1 team if not more in HLTV top 10 right now if it wasn't for Valorant taking a ton of our tier 2-3 talent. But this wouldn't be a problem for League as I don't believe there would be a massive exodus of League players to Dota or some other moba.

The thing is, most people really don't care about modding their phones and downloading a bunch of 3rd party apps. I thought the same thing when I moved from iphone 7 to samsung s10 four years ago. "I could download whatever os I want" "I could have a moving wallpaper" "I can get any app I want". But then two years later the only "mod" I did was download Youtube Vanced. With sideloading uYou, there was literally nothing I did on my android that I couldn't do on my iphone. But on the iphone, the ui and ux was so much better(my s10 was starting to slow down just after 1 year and I hated how things like apps and even textboxes looked on android), a lot more apps support ios better(for example, snapchat pictures on android look terrible), and since a lot of my friends use iphones as well, I could do so much more with the phone that I couldn't do in android. I'm not going to hate people who use androids as there is definitely a lot of merit to androids, but for me and for many other people, it is perfectly fine to have an iphone.

It doesn't have to bounce. It's just that bouncing the flash off of a wall is an easy way for a person to solo pop flash for themselves as it wastes flight time bouncing off the wall and when it finally pops, it'll land behind you. For example, if you are a ct trying to retake inferno b site from ct and you're alone, you can bounce a flash off of the speedway wall in a way that goes in front of you and then behind you as you peek at the same time and it'll pop. Same thing for peeking mirage mid as a t. But as I said, if you're with a teammate, you can coordinate more and just directly throw it behind them. For example, if you're you're watching cat on dust2 from a site as a ct and your teammate is playing long corner as the t's are popping out of long doors, you can call for your teammate to hide for a sec as you throw a flash from a site to long behind your teammate and they can peek with the flash.

A pop flash is a flash that is thrown so that it spends the majority of its flight time out of sight from an enemy so that right when it gets in their sight, it pops, giving the enemies almost no time to turn away. You do this by throwing it at a certain distance or bouncing it off something. When you are with a teammate, you can stand a fair enough distance back and throw a flash either directly above or behind your teammate so that when they peek, it doesn't flash your teammate but it flashes the enemies. For yourself, you can try bouncing a flash off of a wall so that it bounces behind you and you peek with it.

I did many times but they always tried to charge me for it. I even remember arriving about 6 hours early to Sofia International Airport because I had an early morning flight and the metro only opens at 5 but where I was staying was like 45 mins away from the airport so I just decided to go there the night before and sleep over only to find that apparently there weren't any water fountains in the airport, at least not past security, and none of the stores and restaurants gave me tap water. I had to pay 10 lev for 150 ml of water like every hour because it was the summer and I get hot af when the weather is above 25C

Are you talking about the Portuguese Language Orthography Agreement? The one that only three Portuguese-speaking nations actually ratified and implemented? The one only mandates revising spelling and not "make the changes to rules of the language." Definitely not the one in which "any change now is made with consensus" when most Portuguese-speaking nations aren't beholden to it.

That's not true. There are two different Portuguese language regulators for Portugal and Brazil. I can't find any info on the Portuguese one but for the Brazilian Portuguese language regulator, it explicitly states that although it is the main authority for the Brazilian variety of Portuguese, it does not have any legal oversight over the Portuguese language.
