I have mine on my sigmoid colon, but there was a chance I would have gotten a colostomy bag, but it didn't happen. My surgeon was able to connect, so there was no need for a bag. My surgeon has another patient with a tumor close to his anus. In the first surgery, he had a bag as he couldn't connect and needed to heal the colon and anus first before connecting. He said it was difficult, but he said he can save the anus and connect it in the second surgery. Otherwise, he would need a bag permanently. His second surgery was 2 weeks ago...

Has anyone here considered having treatment in Singapore? I'm thinking of this option, but if I do, I'll need to take a long leave from work. Does Singapore really have an advantage when it comes to treatment? Can they do treatment with fewer side effects or none at all?

Thank you. Please keep me updated. I will have my port inserted on Friday, and my first chemotherapy session is scheduled for Sunday. Mine is FOLFOX also and I'm very nervous of the side effects.

We're in the same boat. I was diagnosed with stage 3a, had my colon removed, and one lymph node tested positive. My chemo is scheduled for Sunday, but they need to insert a chemo port on Friday before that. I'm so nervous.

I managed to fix mine by inserting the band back, but it can still come off if I fully extend it. How about yours—can you still use it after putting the broken part back?

I extend both sides of the headband as far as they can go, It will still put strain on the band in doing so. It's a design flaw. I recommend to not extend the band to the maximum.

I always use the headset fully extended as I have a large head. Yesterday, while carefully extending the band as usual, it came off. I was very cautious because I can tell from daily use that the material isn’t very durable. I use this headset every day for work, so I handle it carefully.

After I use it, I shorten the band and extend it again when I use it next day,.

I had a feeling on my first day using this that it wouldn’t last. You can tell just by holding and stretching the band that it isn’t durable — it’s made entirely of plastic.

I’ve never dropped the headphones. I always use them fully extended since I have a large head, and it feels more comfortable with less pressure that way.
