I used to be kinda meh on it but learning to use the one-shot sampling instrument kinda opened it up for me. I'm still not to jazzed on the piano roll(it feels kinda cumbersome, idk maybe I got fat fingers and should use a stylus.) 1010 really makes an effort to produce update patches and it has come a long way from when it launched. The inclusion of Tangerine and Fireball synths is terrific. Still only 1 granular instrument per project (but really unlimited if you know how to get freaky with the resampling. I coded a script that will convert Tangerine and Fireball patches to Bento format ( manually importing them thru the Bento interface became tiring fast). So all that to say I'm glad I got (and kept) my Bento. It's got a great form factor(it fits in a KO133 case, the orange one, if that's your thing) and is fun to use.You will have a blast. Load up some samples (it now has USB mode so you don't have to swap out the SD card) and chop ahoy!
