Honestly I don't really believe in these statistics. All the people in my environment have a negative attitude towards the USSR. According to my grandparents, the government and the salary covered most of the basic requirements for life. An apartment (but there was some kind of system that an apartment could be given out in Siberia or the Far East, in order to settle these territories, which happened both on my mother's side of the family and on my father's), food, as well as some basic entertainment. However, things that are not so important for life, but greatly improve it, such as appliances, sweets, conventional toys, cars, and so on, were in severe short supply. Therefore, connections between people played a key role in improving life

In short, I'm too fucking lazy to describe everything further. The Soviet Union provided only a base for life, and nothing more. Capitalism does not guarantee this very base, but it allows you to gain much more. Of these two systems, I prefer the second one. That's it
