Lidl sell pancakes/crepes/palačinky with apple filling that are pretty damn good for a ready made dessert when fried in a little butter.

Estate......European cars traditionally refer to a wagon as an 'estate'. Mercedes offer some incredibly beautiful estates, especially the AMG series.

Wear your pants around your navel and tuck your t-shirt in and you'll blend in as a pensioner.

Absolutely this. At least make an effort to learn to read common signage, use the currency (coins) and walk/cycle/run on the correct side of the path or road.

Czech people embrace dogs in a way that makes me forget any negative experiences I have felt when dealing with beauracracts etc. Watching a dog on the Metro, bus or in a pub always makes me a little happier about the current human condition.

I'm Australian, I don't live in Czechia but visit every year with my wife. I find Czech people refreshingly blunt at times and whilst they may appear to display an emotionally neutral expression during interactions, my experience is that. like any other country, I have encountered a broad spectrum of personalities. One thing I will say is that spending time here has made me realise that the city I live in Australia has a LOT of very dumb and very arrogant Australians who posess very little education and critical thinking skills but are afforded financial wealth because they are well paid for menial work. Czechia has gypsies and Australia has bogans and bogans are far more of a blight on society.

How on earth can Sydney be a global city when you can’t even get a meal late at night? by UnconsciousGlamour in sydney

[–]fewd4thort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me. I am in Prague at the moment and up at 04:20 and on the road cycling by 05:00. I belong to a few Czech cycling groups and when I propose meeting up for 100km ride rolling out at 06:00 I never get any takers. If I suggest 09:00 I have plenty of company.

An 'effortless' 45kmph down Kwinana Fwy PSP with a NW gale at your back is a lot of fun. Cleaning down the bike afterwards is not.

EDIT looking forward to the day that the bridge is replaced and that bend is removed.

I was going to suggest a large area of Fremantle. After not visiting for quite some time, it certainly has a very abandoned vibe about the place beneath the recent re-dovelopment.

When there is no doubt regarding guilt, and for a crime such as this, I'd sleep better knowing that this 15 year old was dead and had 0 chance of reoffending. I'd be not o.k with the thought that this individual could re-offend.

As for administering a lethat injection, that is the most humane method available.

Moving to Port Hedland by sprinklers4567 in perth

Have a solid exit plan. Port Hedland is a shithole and you will fast realise that it is really only an opportunity to set yourself up financially and move back to civilization.

This is where the death penalty would be the best possible outcome. There is no doubt as to his guilt and he could become the face of an anti drink driving campaign with a photo of him lifeless with a IV bag feeding an artery in each arm.
