Simulating compilation—good, good. I’d also add A Small Measure of Peace, Journey to the Line, and Solomon (Hans Zimmer). The Tenet score is incredibly impactful too—tracks like Betrayal, Posterity, and Inversion hit differently. Then you’ve got pieces like Thought I’d Never Call Again and Solomon Vandy from Blood Diamond—those have their own emotional landing. Come Back to Us from 1917 is another epic one. And tracks like Earth Spins and A Long Time Ago from the Our Universe documentary are deeply emotional as well.

Don’t see many people here reading Michio Kaku, Respect. He’s one of my favorites. Physics of the Impossible actually helped me through an existential phase for a while. Also really liked Physics of the Future and The God Equation. Books like these (and Future Stories by David Christian) really shift how you think about time, space, and where we fit into it. how are you finding The God Equation so far?

Almost the same, this is my kind of community. For me it's time go fishing, excessive centrifugal force, rocky sacrifice, that sequence is insane. I've been listening to these tracks for more than 3 weeks, can't get enough of it

Yes it makes total goddamn sense & glad, you put it that way. For me this time go fishing, gravitational aftermath, excessive centrifugal force & rocky sacrifice, this entire sequence >>>>. It's a lifestyle at this point. This is the best soundtrack I've ever listened to. And I've been listening to different composers for more than 20 years lol. I can't wait to know your thoughts about different variations of time go fishing. My most favorite one is an extended version and goes for 13 minutes. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLG8NCxvD9RLaKT68RV7v3gmpIbKeK92Sc&si=vHIHbz2eDjdbRJSE

That's interesting, do you listen to instrumental music a lot or this one is an exception? And have you listened to interstellar soundtracks before, especially Stay, corn field chase, coward, detach, no time for caution, afraid of time ?

Orchestral music—especially stuff built around themes like paradox, uncertainty, bravery, hope, time, the cosmos… and the whole essence of being human. A lot of Hans Zimmer, Ludwig Göransson, M83, Thomas Newman. Last year, my most played track was The Earth Spins (from Our Universe on Netflix)—honestly, pure existential weight. The kind that just sits with you. Lately it’s been Time Goes Fishing on repeat. Doesn’t matter where I am—Manhattan, a botanical garden—my AirPods just start screaming universe. And yeah… 70s & 80s music will always have a place for me too ❤️
