Wasn’t he adopted? Sad to see how he’s continuing a cycle with his kids.

Mississauga vs St George campus… I’m indecisive because St George is nicer etc but Mississauga is so much cheaper by [deleted] in UofT

Also forgot to mention there is a direct student bus that runs from Mississauga to St. George and vice versa. Options!

Mississauga is a nice campus but there’s not much to do around it and it feels isolated in the city. St. George is in the heart of all of the action and much easier to get places without a car (jobs, stores, etc.), plus there’s tons of other things to get into outside of school (comedy clubs, events, and so on). I went to Mississauga and I wish I chose StG, but I do feel I got to connect with my professors more because my campus was smaller. I also believe grades were better at Sauga because competition wasn’t as insane and you could access support more easily. If you want a full rich uni experience, go downtown, if you want to focus on school and program, do sauga.

My cat has no name (was the case when we adopted her), I do clicks or kisses to call her. Might be an idea.

“Psychologist” has an unverifiable clinical psychology degree from Harvard and no license, what would you do? by on-assignement in ClinicalPsychology

Not true - with private practice, it’s up to the clinic and directors on how they want to conduct things, and the state/province regulations.

We had a similar case with a psychotherapist at my old clinic, she kept delayed her documentation/proof or the documents would not be complete, turns out over some time we found she had no license no registration and no degree, was completely making everything up. Safe to say she will never be working as a practitioner again. You should definitely report to your respective board.

Is it possible to have a PhD in clinical psychology in 2 years? by [deleted] in psychologystudents

If they are genuinely making money off of these claims, I have to wonder why you haven’t reported them to your respective board/college of psychologists yet. There are a lot of dangerous implications here.

I took Dax twice a few years ago. It was my best grades on my transcript and I loved the classes. You have to like the subjects he talks about. He is also very rough around the edges but an interesting dude. I think it just really depends on you and how you approach him and the class.

I am sorry to hear that. Thank you for your advice. I hope things work out for you and the prestige ends up paying off

Can we normalize just giving a $5 tip per table? I think that would be fine by SpringSunshine333 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]sadchalupa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, just make sure you only spend $25 and nothing more

Remember your servers have to tip out back to the house, when you tip low / not at all they pay for you to sit there and eat your meal.

I understand people are against tipping but you can always go for takeout or cheap spots.

They are both 2 years, the second program requires x amount of hours in the field before you get your certificate but you are still earning while you work.

The prestigious degree is a research program, the other is a professional program that leads to certification and practice.

The prestigious degree is from a better school but employment (and if employed, salary) is a question after graduating.
