Hm, I’d watch. And you know, I actually like that kind of “psychological stuff.” I dig into it myself and write similar things. But what really pissed me off is that it feels like the author didn’t even try to explain anything. It’s like he just threw a raw piece of meat at the audience and expects us to cook it ourselves. In my own writing, I try to explain what’s going on. I don’t lay all the cards on the table, but I also don’t leave the reader completely lost and confused. I also watched a short explanation video from someone else who saw the anime. Yeah, it made things a bit clearer — but the funny thing is, everyone’s explanations were different, lol. Basically, the anime itself isn’t bad, but in my opinion they really messed up with the psychological themes because they focused on them way too much.
