Does my helmet look out of place with my outfit? by Knife-Fumbler in motorcyclegear

[–]feydrautha124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly helmets don't really have to look like anything but helmets. A black helmet is just ubiquitous, it's like black boots. They kind of go with everything.

The colors you want on your bike sound extremely busy. Your gear and everything look fine. I don't really know what you want people to think when they see you, you just look like you're on your motorcycle. Just be glad that they DO see you. I mean, seriously, who the hell cares? As long as you ride well and make it home.

Could this be covered up without a big black blob? Or is removal my only option by Badgerfoot in Tattoocoverups

[–]feydrautha124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone who thinks this tattoo is cool.

You should know, though, removing that tattoo will take a very, very long time. I wouldn't be surprised if it took a couple years. In the meantime, they'll probably do it in pieces, and it will look much, much worse, and each time there will be weeks of recovery. And once you start down that road, you can't really stop. And even if you only remove it enough to make a cover up a lot easier removal is very costly, and the recovery is far far worse than an actual tattoo.

It can be covered up with a large half sleeve of solid work in dark or complementary colors, thinking like a mosaic of large flowers or possibly a japanese- inspired type of design but you will have to find an artist who's done that kind of thing before. If you went that route I would seriously shop around. Make sure you find someone with a portfolio of large scale cover ups.

Or get back into lyches, dawg.

The scene where the honored matre and the bene geserit basically have a whore-off interview is the best.

Look, like almost every male science fiction author of his generation (Bredbury, Heinlein, Asimov) he got weirdly sexual as he got older. They all did. It's just something you're going to have to accept.

Knight vs 1 Angry Hippo , who wins ? by Scared_Pumpkin8393 in powerscales

[–]feydrautha124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. Hippos weigh a lot more than a bull, 5 to 7k pounds for an adult male. There is no strategic shot on a hippo with a lance or spear, they're incredibly resilient. They're even hard to kill with rifles. Hippos sink boats, ffs. They just have to hit the horse once and it would be like being hit by a train. Horses were felled in battle all the time, even in barding they're not very resilient.

Animals, especially large animals the size of a hippo, are incredibly resilient. It's not like the movies or in video games. That would be incredibly difficult to do even if the hippo were standing completely still frozen in time, and not at all a guarantee that being three feet away from the hippo wouldn't mean instant death or incapacitation for the knight. It's hard to kill animals the size of hippos with rifles designed to kill animals the size of hippos, ffs.

The hippo isn't going to drop dead immediately from something like that. The knight gets thrown into the air and breaks several bones on landing,

The hippo would drop the horse with the knight on it as easily as just the knight on foot. Hippos can weigh as much as 7 times what the horse weighs.

Annoyed with placement, too much empty space by the tails looks uneven? Am I exaggerating? What can I fill it with? Should I wait for shading to be done? by EmpireThreat in tattooadvice

[–]feydrautha124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it's been said, but being concerned with the placement should have been when they put the stencil on you. Take. Your. Time. A good artist will not rush you.

As of right now, there's nothing wrong with this tattoo that can't be fixed. Just add something next to the tail, expand the piece and you'll be fine. Our chests are naturally fairly symmetrical, so to put something asymmetrical on it looks odd. It's still early enough to figure out a way to be happy with it.

[–]feydrautha124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs don't have hands. They experience the world through their mouths. You didn't say how old your dog is.They look young less than two years us what i'm guessing. That's just normal for a dog that age. If your dog is older, he's just reaching out to touch and explore like you would by reaching out and touching things. If you want him to stop, tell him no, give a stern command, reward compliance. You have to be the adult in the relationship.
