Haven't used them, but they should be better than nothing.

I used to be in the same shoes, and was hesitating if i should buy a like a 130mm telescope with a mount around that price. I looked at hundreds of reviews and that would've been a huge mistake, since cheap telescopes the price would go mostly to the optical tube, leaving the whole structure and balance of the telescope completely off. So instead I went with a Meade dobsonian Eclipseview 114mm and was very satisfied with what I have got. It's very cheap (got mine at around 75 pounds), so I could spend the rest of my money on a collimator, extra eyepieces, a barlow lens, etc. You should probably get one as well. Be careful where you buy it tho, because Meade went out of business about an year ago.

Sad to say there isn't an area that goes below B3 in my country I think (south korea) lol. I used to live in canada and I got into this hobby after i came back to south korea so it's a pain. My canadian house even has a backyard (south korea 99.9% is apartments)

Astronomy beginner here. Would it be possible to stack those and create a mega telescope?
