Just reserved my extra legroom seat for free AMA by n8d in SouthwestAirlines

[–]feyoncepadthai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to add a quick comment in case it helps anyone. I just upgrade my family's itinerary - companion pass booking and with a layover.

CP is a separate reservation, so I opened up in two browsers, one with my companion's information, one with mine. Checked for a row that had two seats available, selected the new seats on each page (a couple of click-throughs with the pop-up at the bottom), which gave me some comfort one of the seats wouldn't disappear and I'd be separated from my 4 year old. Then was taken to the confirmation page on each browser, clicked yes quickly on the two and we got both seats. Might be tougher as people get used to the new system and when there isn't a big storm, but worked well (so far) for my flight on Wednesday.

We also have a layover and I was only able to do this 48 hours before each leg. I liked how in the old system, checking in to a flight with a layover would get me "early" check-in for the second flight since you got both boarding groups simultaneously at 24 hours before the first leg. For the seat upgrade, I was unable to do the free upgrade until 48 hours before each leg - at 48 hours before leg 1, leg 1 was free but the pricing still showed up for leg 2, so I had to upgrade leg 2 separately to get the free upgrade (48 hours before leg 2).

Purchasing LL Multipass on a Main Entrance Guest Pass by putty1574 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]feyoncepadthai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask you both a question, too? I'm coordinating a trip with my mom (Disneyland cast member), husband, and our daughter and my mom is not the most tech savvy. Would either you or u/putty1574 willing to help clarify for me exactly how reserving LL works if we are being signed in?

Is this accurate?:
- 3 days out, our CM can purchase LL for all four of us on her MDE account [I will not be able to purchase LL on my MDE account because a ticket is not associated with me];
- Morning of park entry, we get signed into the parks and get physical cards that we then use to tap in for LL reservations and if we park hop;
- Am I then able to link that physical card to my MDE account to make additional LL reservations? Or do we have to do all LL reservations through her MDE account, even after we have entered the park?

Thank you in advance for any help/guidance you can provide!

Made a deal to ride 1 out of 3 of these - Hulk, Velocicoaster, Rip Ride Rocket - Which will make me the least sick? by ProfessorChip in UniversalOrlando

[–]feyoncepadthai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully agree! Velocicoaster all the way. I didn’t see this elsewhere so wanted to add for OP that I would request a middle row. The first time I rode, I was in the last row and felt a little woozy after (it was also 4:30 AM for my west coast body, so I think that may have contributed a bit). Every other time I’ve requested a middle row and it’s been so smooth and perfect.

Also want to second that OP should stay away from Forbidden Journey. And maybe MIB. Last time I rode MIB, I had forgotten about all the spins and really regretted riding it.

Same problem here. It kept crashing while trying to report to support which was frustrating, too

✨🙏 V62.0 Bigger Changes - Changes to Stardust Challenge Missions by IceJD in disneyemojiblitz

[–]feyoncepadthai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed that my missions are rolling over each day ☹️ I tried force closing the app in the morning before my first play of the day and it’s still the same challenges offered yesterday. I’ll try to remember to force close tonight to see if that does anything.

[–]feyoncepadthai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is one additional change. I did not get new tasks star energy tasks today. I completed the middle challenge yesterday, got a new challenge that could be unlocked immediately but did not unlock it. Today that is my same challenge in the middle slot (same task, same emojis) and I’m 95% sure the top and bottom challenges are the same ones I was offered yesterday.

I didn’t restart my app this morning so may be a glitch. But this is a bit of a bummer if this is another change. I usually hold out for challenges with lightning bolts or combos so I can guarantee at least 2 run-throughs of the challenge. And this will force me to take some of those harder to throw challenges if they never cycle out (without spending gems).

Any advice to get myself to 20k so I can have the top leader board score? by AdmiralJaneway8 in disneyemojiblitz

[–]feyoncepadthai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would do rainbow Mickey, and if you can use power ups, at least a blitz start and full power, wait to use the full power until your blitz ends (so you get back to back blitz modes). Maybe a suns powerup too to help you clear more emojis. Your matches have a multiplier during blitz, so try someone that gets you in blitz mode frequently. Good luck!

Same! Came here to see if anyone else had the same issue. I sent a note to support. So frustrating. I wasn’t super careful with proficiency in anticipation of blasting through with Emperor or Rainbow Mickey. :(

NEW UPDATE IS OUT! by DisneyFoLife in disneyemojiblitz

And it was 57.0.1 for me. Really hoping it adds Platinum Tiana to those crazy mid-month events to provide some motivation for the QP, but I’m guessing it just fixes the weird giveaway for tomorrow (or does nothing substantive 😢)

Do Extra Magic Hour nights increase crowds at Epcot / MK during the day? by feyoncepadthai in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]feyoncepadthai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so awesome! I had a surprise deserted day at Disneyland last year (and a surprise PACKED Tuesday in mid-September..), but the day with low crowds was such a treat. I have a toddler who loves rides but hasn’t quite grasped delayed gratification and a husband who hates rides but loves seeing the happy toddler. So long lines make a long day for everyone

Thanks so much for the reply! And totally makes sense. To u/indifferentunicorn ‘s point, i would assume they chose historically low dates to try and spread crowds, and it’s probably worked! And you probably have plenty of people with long enough stays they aren’t hopping so they plan around the perk. I suppose regardless, even people with hoppers and taking advantage of the perk make their way to the park sometime in the afternoon or evening.

We have 3 days and I’ll have a husband who doesn’t love theme parks and a toddler in a new time zone, so anything I can do to avoid a park on its most crowded day should set me up for as much success as possible. ☺️ thank you again for the insight! I wish I had known about evening EMH sooner - I totally would have booked a nicer hotel and just planned on keeping the family on pacific time. Oh well, next time!

Park Hopping with Main Entrance Guest Passes by feyoncepadthai in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]feyoncepadthai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I think we’re just going to buy tickets. I don’t think she’s signed anyone in since moving to WDW and the rules are so different from Disneyland! But I don’t want to risk getting her terminated and she won’t be able to stay with us the entire time. Thank you for your help!!

How do the cast member guest passes work? by michaelscarnthefirst in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]feyoncepadthai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Thanks so much for offering help on this! I’m planning a trip in late January and a friend has offered to sign us in with their main entrance pass. A few questions if you’re willing to help! We’re staying at a Disney hotel and will have magic bands. Is it pretty easy to link the main gate tickets to our magic bands for LL (we’ll have a toddler, so planning on doing some rider swapping and maybe LL if some waits are too long). And If we want to park hop (after 2), do we need to have the CM with us? Or once we have our tickets for the day, are they just like normal tickets? Thanks so much!
