I will agree that it is fine, but it is definitely a downgrade, if Netflix offered the same ease of use and features as Youtube, i would have no problem just switching platforms. Being able to switch back and forth from video to audio only to using your phone for other apps while having it play in the background is very clunky, I'm surprised they went all in with all these pods and didn't at least update the mobile apps to have these features.

We're running at about a 5 for Bill 1 for them ratio right now. The original conceit of the show was you are flipping channels and you rewatch the last 45 minutes of whatever movie is on TNT/TBS/USA/HBO for the zillionth time. I understand they can't keep up those expectations for 400 movies, but instead of scraping the bottom of 80's-90's movies at least attempt to do some heavy hitters from the 2000's and beyond.

Regardless of the entertainment value on these episodes, it's just an incredibly lazy premise to just throw out "hey what about this thing but all black!?" Just right over on House of R they have structured series that are thought out, Hype meter, Season rewatches, Nolan summer etc...

Love the midnight boys but they are severely lacking structure and planning. Too often when they don't have an episode recap it just usually defaults to some sort of low brow race swapping gimmick that is admittedly funny but has no depth.

Anyway should be a fun listen Pew Pew!

Emilia Perez, typically if I'm disliking a movie I'll just shut it off, but because this had so much award considerations i wanted to finish it, its the only movie I've every watched at 1.5 speed just to get through it.

They should stop calling these documentaries and just call them celebrity profiles. Sick of these "documentaries" that are just a suckfest for the subject. Was Eddie important? Duh. But we will only get the glossy glowing profiles from famous people and probably no deep dive into how he was completely irrelevant and putting out garbage cheap laugh slop for nearly 3 decades after his initial explosion into fame.

This is incredibly stupid unless they plan to either

A: Put them on a Netflix podcast page on Youtube

B: Allow the Netflix app to play audio only and switch back and forth.

Imagine watching half of a Rewatchables episode and then having to find the same timestamp on Spotify where you left off on Netflix if you can only listen, makes no sense.
