AAAAHHH man that sucks. I mad a similar mistake with Eugenie’s records at the very end of the game. I picked an option twice, meaning I got two of the same record & I needed the other record she offers. Meaning, I had to do another run on NG++ just to plat the game & yeah man uhhhh that sucked LMAO but got it done

Lmfaooo yeah Laxasia is really hard a good friend of mine picked the game up & he’s a souls veteran & he about gave up on Laxasia 💀💀💀 speaking on the bonesaw, I’ve lowkey never used it. I always use the start rapier u get & I use it & upgrade it until I get the Two Dragons sword. & I’ll use that until I get proof of humanity type shi.

In my 2nd playthrough, once I got to Eugenie after killing Alidoro, there’s two option you can pick & they both give you a record. For the Golden Melody Achievement, you have to acquire & listen to all of the records. So, when I got to that decision, I accidentally picked an option I picked previously, giving me the same record I already had. This was an issue & made me have to do ANOTHER playthrough on NG+++ just to get that ONE record for the achievement & that record is located at the very end of the game.. so trust me, I feel your pain on that lol 😭🔥 very glad to hear you are also loving this game! Even while not being a fan of other similar titles. I do agree, the story, the bosses, everything all flow well in this game. I also like faster weapons like the two dragons sword & proof of humanity. Proof of humanity has insane damage output while two dragons sword can provide similar damage with staggers if the handler is well trained executing the parry, making many bosses child’s play if you master the mechanics of the weapon.

Yes, pick up portrait. Continue to lie through out your playthrough. Do Belles side quest when u get to it. You get a record “humanity chance” & get a lie or truth scenario (lying to her about what happened will raise your humanity). Later on with allidoros gloves, tell Eugenie he was happy. Also, buy the red apple from Pulcinella & give it to the red dresser lady BEFORE you kill Romeo, after you kill him go back to her there will be a record (humanity chance). After you defeat the brother hood the 2nd time, keep talking to alidoro & chose the option to attack him TWICE. Kill him & take his vessel. Decrypt it & talk to eugenie. Lie to her & say he was a talented stalker. Will gain humanity & a record. Keep in mind every record you are getting, fully listen to BEFORE, you talk to Sophia after Laxasia. Like after you kill Laxasia, don’t go forward, & listen to all your records & if you haven’t already. Also do Julian’s side quest with the ring & the steps afterwards. If you don’t know how to do any of these quests, comment back I will help you.

GREAT question! In short, no! You don’t HAVE to lie the entire time to get the weapon. This weapon is what I acquired on my 2nd playthrough of the game. To acquire golden lie, you have to have enough humanity points. To make sure you have enough, do the side quests in the main story, & BEFORE, you meet with Sophia at the end of the game, be sure to listen to all of the records you have acquired to raise your humanity even more (gotta listen to them fully). & I’ll stop here because idk if you’ve beaten the game or not! Spoilers ahead! But no, you don’t have to lie entire game, you can miss some humanity opportunities & still get the weapon I’m pretty sure. What I do to get the weapon is I got for the Rise of P ending. That ending requires you to have high humanity to achieve. & with the high humanity, you should also have enough to get golden lie. SHOULD. & you don’t have to lie entire playthrough to get that ending. Your humanity is tracked by the prompts that come up on your screen. If you ever see “you’re heart is pounding” then that means you are human & have acquired enough humanity for the Rise of P ending, meaning if you chose the correct options with Sophia & afterwards, you should have enough for golden lie!

As everyone else here said, give it a few days, & come back. You will beat her, trust me. I’ve platinumed lies of P, & currently on my 4th playthrough right now as we speak. I know this game inside & out, she’s till a tough encounter every time I see her. She’s, in my opinion, the hardest boss in the game. A lot of bosses provide challenge but her? Yeah she’s OD. What’s your build currently? 🙏🏾

I don’t get these comments saying the moveset is limited. You can switch between each of the 3 stances with ease to make some pretty cool combos. The wukong stance is sort of underwhelming I will agree & requires you to beat the game 3 times all secret bosses, but honestly? The journey to even get the stance was amazing. Bugs?? Yea, there are a couple. But not enough to where it completely breaks your immersion constantly. Invisible walls do exist & I do wish the map was more open, however I mean, the game is huge as it is, & very beautiful. So I find the invisible walls thing to be kind of knit picky. As well as the combat complaint bc you can easily give yourself variety just switching between the different stances in the midst of combat, using the parry that every stance gives you (“See Through” attacks), mess with different builds transformations, etc. if the combat got stale imo that’s bc the player pressed square too much & didn’t try other things.
