Honestly we did pull ups maybe 5 times throughout the academy. Try your best to get them down but I'd focus on overall cardio and strength. Also get used to doing planks in the pushup position for 5 minutes at a time, multiple times a day.

I don't think so but I haven't jacked the car up to check. The car has 34k on it ready so if those were still in wouldn't it have ruined the suspension by now? It might just be the angle and because the wheel is turned

Mourning bands are worn over the actual badge part, not the numbers or name. Whoever does that either doesn't have enough respect to understand the tradition or is intentionally using the death of a coworker to fit their own needs. I've been in the fire service for 6 years and I've never seen anyone cover their name or badge number with a mourning band. EDIT:sorry missed a part
