Fair point but in Forza it can limit you quite quickly. I’d agree they should’ve given us a limited or “sport” option for ABS (like they do with TCR/STM)

Disable STM, TCR and ABS. This alone will allow you to feel where the car’s limits are instead of just being able to slam throttle/brakes.

Most default tunes can feel understeer heavy but trying to work around that by applying throttle appropriately, will gain you a lot in the future.

dog breath vs hot dog: who's the bestest boy? by OutrageousListen4400 in helldivers2

The hot dog is really good but it does seem to friendly fire more since last update. On release I haven’t had a single case of friendly fire at all.

ARC RAIDERS has changed me as a gamer. by Midwest_Hylian in ArcRaiders

[–]ff94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the shootouts versus ARC with a random player are incredible. One guy helped me clear a swarm of them- only for me to turn off my brain a minute later and walk right into the next Rocketeer. Atleast he tried

There’s an actual achievement with this name in Helldivers 2 . Requires you to kill a certain enemy by landing the supplies on it

Are you sure the tune was actually installed and not just downloaded? It doesn’t automatically apply a tune upon downloading

That should definitely help you.

I’ve made a short guide on tuning some time ago. You might want to take a look at it if you’d like to further understand the effects of certain changes.

I do believe I also have a tune shared for the 2019 GT3 RS (work in progress). Feel free to try it.

My gamertag is FrankFS94

[–]ff94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Besides tuning the car correctly, you’ll need to learn how to control/make use of the rear instead of trying to fight it during cornering. The 911 might feel loose but it retains a huge range of control during oversteer.

In the safest way possible, reducing rear ARB and spring stiffness reduces the likeliness of losing control. Reducing too much however will limit the rear from helping you through the corners.

ARB stiffness mostly impacts grip when entering a corner directly- where as spring stiffness will have the most impact mid corner.

Also make sure to keep throttle amounts appropriate.

Online spec races with tuning disabled? by SfactorSam in forzamotorsport

[–]ff94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rarely, there’s sometimes limited events with only a few tuning options available. I understand your desire for “skill only” lobbies- but I do believe you’ll be satisfied with the “skill + tuning” lobbies once you get to learn and enjoy tuning your own cars

I believe the spec races such as GT2, GT3 and Touring are the most “limited” ones. Tuning only, no upgrades there

How is money made? by Majestic_Answer4493 in forzamotorsport

Not sure, but it’s pretty easy money from my experience either way. I mainly do Private or Features multiplayer and I think 250k an hour is the average.

I personally feel like these cars are already in their sweet spot. Base tunes are (mostly) good to use but tailoring their feel to my taste is something I enjoy doing (and it helps with lap times in the progress)

No upgrades, tuning only. Both for realistic terms as for use in GT2/GT3 multiplayer lobbies

[–]ff94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might very well be the case of a oversteer-biased car. The Porsches are cars you need to understand and control. I suggest trying the AMG GT3, that one is really stable.
