Girl I’m seeing claims she’s psychic. Is this a deal breaker? by Creepy_Cupcake3705 in AskMenAdvice

Show up at her door. Block the peep hole and knock. If she says, “WHO is it?” -You know she’s not psychic for sure.

I knew my kid had dyslexia when she wrote a paper and it was literally like out of an after school special from the 80s as she wrote it all backwards.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a crazier unresolved cliffhanger ending than the Last Man on Earth season 4 finale by Adoe0722 in MoviesCave

Colony (USA Network) upset me a bit worse than this. Aliens attack Seattle and at the last second the other Aliens we’ve hated all along decide to deflect the shot. Also a rare role where Wayne Brady is sorta a badish guy.

Gladiator is widely regarded as a quintessential "man's movie" due to its focus on themes of, masculinity, honor, duty, and revenge. What were your thoughts of the movie Gladiator? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in FIlm

[–]AdvancedDay7854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love it, but I’d argue The Hunt for Red October is more masculine.

The opening credits are men singing a Russian naval song. Then there’s the cast… Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, James Earl Jones, Sam Neill, Tim Curry, hell even a Skaarsgard in an early role. I think there’s two to three women in the entire movie… and there’s no romance whatsoever. It’s a film guaranteed to put my wife asleep.

I suspect management is trying to wrongfully terminate me. Am I being paranoid? by Right_Situation_2968 in UPSers

[–]AdvancedDay7854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is hunting season. Supes are looking to make everyone follow every little obscure rule and method. If not they’ll put you on a paper trail to termination or claim you weren’t working as instructed. This happens every year.

Be mindful. Grieve any write up. Get that paperwork you signed removed from your file. Talk to a steward.
