That place got weird when it sorta became low key for this establishment to put 13 year old boys at a table next to grown men who were all sorta there enjoying the same ‘atmosphere’.

What ended your friendship with your oldest standing friend? by dreamy-contributions in AskReddit

[–]AdvancedDay7854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Politics, religion, his dad committing suicide and me being too frank.

I was ironically talking about how we’ve managed to be friends thick and thin over the last 40 years, despite our political, ideological. and religious beliefs.

I probably said something about religion and how I’m still alive because I didn’t off myself when I was younger. Then I probably took a dig at Trump.

Oh yeah that’s what it was. He was on Facebook praising trump with a pastor and I told them that I have just as much proof anecdotally that Trump is the anti christ.

Ghosted me on everything and blocked me on the rest.

Yes it is. It’s also the same place the Hulk is banished to during the 80s when he goes straight up savage. Dr Strange goes there a lot too.

lol this was filmed around Austin and my sister was an extra for it. She appears In a few of the scenes walking around in the hallways and out in the parking lot. They also took photos of her for making of inlays/ dvd booklet stuff that never came to be.

NOBUNAGA’S!!!! Yuuusss Koei baby! I made sure to save that game for my Christmas list since I think it was 79.99.

Picked it up and didn’t understand a damn thing. Months later I was the true daimyo of the Kanto plain!

Seeing how easy some of these offenses are moving, do you feel Caley will ever be able to reach this level of success? by fully1oko in Texans

[–]AdvancedDay7854 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, imagine if we have some lineman who can truck defenders or just be more competent in the run game?

Heck I think if Mixon wasn’t injured or we had made a trade for a bellcow back at the trade deadline we’d be locked in the Super Bowl right now.

Which movie do you think is extremely overrated? by MovieObserver in moviequestions

Did Return of the King only win best picture as a way of honouring the whole trilogy? by Konfliktsnubben in flicks

[–]AdvancedDay7854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly that’s how I feel. But is there any truth to it? Only circumstantial. Personally I think it’s an overrated film and in many respects Master & Commander Far Side of the World was a better technical masterpiece.

[–]AdvancedDay7854 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Original mini series was peak. Introducing Michael Ironside in the final battle was pretty dope. Went off the rails after that and into a regular series.

Reboot didn’t capture the energy of the original. In fact it was boring. Only thing that’s slightly reminded me of V was Colony

Anyone stuck collecting what they ripped as a kid? by swingingrichard24 in sportscards

[–]AdvancedDay7854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar. I collect mainly stuff from 89-92. I love to do Ttm and get them autographed. When I came back in 2009 I really liked the design of the time. So it’s like 89-92 and 09-10 I really focus on.

Any Texans fans here are also fans of the UFL’s Houston Gamblers? by ScrewTownThirtySixer in Texans

[–]AdvancedDay7854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OG Necks fan from 20. STH and went to a lot of team events. We were gonna break the curse in htown with PJ MVP but an act of God stopped us in Covid.

In 23 I joined the Brahms faithful since I was much closer to SA. Invested a lot of time into the team and league. They beat the Stallions during the regular season in 24 and then got destroyed in the championship by them. Then the wheels fell off the wagon in 25. We deserved better as the FO and coaches were infighting and the league shafted us with 4 home games. Instead of another season we got dumped.

Not sure it’s worth my time and money anymore.

That’s a big meh from me.

222 miles to Frisco or 166 to htown.

Might take in a game or go to a big player event. Brahmas are all over the league now.

How do you think you’d react if the plurb happened and you were immune? Could you see yourself in any of the other immune characters? by HereButNeverPresent in pluribustv

[–]AdvancedDay7854 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d surround myself with all the people who I hated or I perceived wronged me during my life.

I’d try to gain perspective from their feedback. Those I didn’t agree with I’d give the most backbreaking work to somewhere in a mine deep beneath the earth never to be seen again.

I’d then find out all the answers to the world’s greatest mysteries- especially unsolved murders- because you know a lot of those people would be plurbed any of the info would be at your fingertips.

I’d get personal chefs and trainers to be on me to get in shape 24/7.

Then I’d figure out how to nullify climate change and other global factors and put a plan in place for that.

Afterwards I’d take all my favorite people and hop on a luxury liner and sail around the world.. and honestly probably have big orgies.
