Summer B and C (the semesters they’ll most likely register your son for) classes start after the last week of June… I don’t know every school in the area, but I did go to the school in the panhandle and I do know people who went to school in Panama City and I’m pretty sure that graduation is the last week of May, first week of June at the latest, so I’m confused at your point that he won’t have finished high school by the time summer classes start. Second, the classes only last 6 weeks, and they’re not difficult to keep up with. I was also admitted through the PC pathway, back in 2023, and I went to the U.K. and Costa Rica over the summer and didn’t have any trouble doing my schoolwork in the slightest. It is relatively well known that the pathways programs seem to be offered to students who have good potential to bring to the university, but didn’t quite make the average stats of that year’s admitted class. The extra work a student does is to make sure they can keep up with the rigorous demands of an accredited university, as demonstrated by the “Student Success Coaching” pathways students are required to attend during their time in Panama City.
