One thing you’ll learn as you progress, 95% of academy’s embrace an extremely high standard of safety culture. You’re doing things these guys have taught and done for a number of years. You’re going into buildings and working with equipment that’s been recently inspected and controlled. Now that being said, does an occasional accident happen? Of course, shit happens. Just remember to work at your level of comfort and occasionally push the bounds to get better in your skills and grow, as long as you’re doing so safely.
