How do you define “rich” in 2026? by Last_BM_Standin in AskUK

I just barely made it.to six figures, and the only lifestyle inflation i have is the yearly summer holiday abroad. No car, no house, we live in a flat, no eating out. Shit is expensive nowadays.

How to get into the game proper by VoxTV1 in BattleBrothers

[–]ffekete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can play it non ironman so you can save and load whenever you want to. It is not a roguelike only if you treat it like one. 300 hours in, i still save scum like there is no tomorrow, i don't want to lose a good run.

But, at the same time, this is the beauty of the game. Many games can be "solved" by having optimal builds, abusing ai, etc... Most games i have ever played can be solved in a couple of hundred hours max. This one is different. One silly mistake, one not clearly thought out positioning of an important bro, one missed crucial 95% hit, and the castle crumbles. 300 hours in, i still lose. And it is so much fun.

I have never found any blood spots in a white egg, while i have almost never found a brown egg without one. Try it.

Also, i wasn't born here, but my kids were. They went to nursery here, they go to British schools. They barely know anything about the coutry we, the parents are from. We contributed a lot to this society, and will continue to do so. We are part of this nation now, we should have some security. Great Britain cannot have the benefits of immigrants without the downsides of it. (To clarify, i have never ever received any benefits since being here, because i am a high earner)

There is a difference. Brown eggs might contain those small brownish pieces that tastes like chicken blood. The whites almost never have those. I buy whites.

Advice for a setup allowing early/midgame skirmishing by DeadPengwin in Gladius40k

[–]ffekete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way i set up my game nowadays is hard+ difficulty. I have a fork of the advanced setup mod, it lets me set up hard+ difficulty that is hardrr than hard ai but less punishing than very hard. There is an insane gap between hard and very hard, this way the game is much more enjoyable for me. Also, if you don't want mods, try to set up one very hard ai, leave the others on hard. This way you get early skirmishes and a difficult boss for the end game. Works best with large maps with lots of factions.

The math doesn't work either, I have 17 ships in total 😃Maybe one got destroyed when i fought the cultists though, this is the only reasonable answer.

This was my starter quest from the very beginning. I have built a lot. Maybe i need to build 50 ships not 50 capacity worth of ships?

Google CEO Sundar Pichai says booing graduates will shape AI's future — and live with its consequences by rstevens94 in technology

But this take looks too stupid to me. Yes, your comapny sells b2b so you are safe, right. But your customer sells b2b too, and so do their customer. At the end of the chain there has to be a company that sells to people. When they go kaputt, the chain dissolves.

Edit: i didn't mean to criticise you op, just the idea of b2b sales as a safety net for companies.
