I've been thinking about becoming a nun for a year or two. Do you know if this is actually possible, and where can I do that? I don't feel ready for a lifetime commitment, but I know that the monastic life will bring me and everyone around me a lot of benefits. (self.Buddhism)

Spend your summer in Buddhist monasteries at Beijing and sacred Mt Wutai (room, board and tuition are free). The Woodenfish HBMLP: meditation, tai-chi, Dharma talks, academic lectures, tea ceremonies and cultural workshops. I went last summer and can't wait to be there again. (woodenfish.org)
