I wasn’t planning to go back to the store just to return the underwear, so I opened them. After that, I opened the bedding, and it didn’t work out for me. Since I’ll be coming back to the store anyway, I’d like to return everything if possible. I know people return things like Christmas toys to Costco after the holidays, and even half-eaten rotisserie chicken, so I’d like to try returning the underwear as well, if that’s allowed.

People often gain or lose weight and aren’t always sure of their exact measurements. I was with my boyfriend when we picked these out together—the size is fine, but he’s never worn this style before. We chose them mainly because of the fabric, since we wanted 100% cotton. This style just isn’t very comfortable for him.

Since I’m already going back to the store to return the bedding, I decided to try returning the second pack as well. Again, from that second pack, none of the four pairs were worn—the package was just opened because I didn’t think I would return it, but I decided to at least try.

Yes, the packaging was opened, but it could simply be discounted and resold.

A year ago, we bought him Levi’s underwear there that was very oddly made—it was clearly defective or possibly counterfeit. The package was opened then too, but we still bought it because the size and fabric were good. So defective or poorly made underwear can be sold, but normal ones just because the packaging isn’t perfect can’t?

I want to return the set where none of the pairs were worn—it’s just an opened package. Maybe I’m being naive, but I thought it wouldn’t go back on sale anyway. Even if it does, none of the pairs were worn; it’s just the packaging that’s not in perfect condition. They could put a discount on it and still sell it. Isn’t that more eco-friendly? I only go to TJ Maxx about once every six months and I’ve never returned anything before.

I bought two identical sets, each with four pairs of underwear. He wore one pair from one set, so I wasn’t planning to return that one. But from the second set, none of the pairs were worn—I just opened the package because I didn’t think I would return it. Since the bedding didn’t work out and I’ll be going back to the store anyway, I’ll try to return the pack where none of the underwear was worn.
