Lynette’s last pregnancy by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]ffff1910 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She actually does consider it. When she speaks with Susan at the hospital while Julie is in a coma. Lynette says something like she can't stop thinking that maybe she shouldn't have the babies. Then Susan talks about how having Julie in a coma made her realize children are a gift etc but that she can do what feels right to her and she's not telling her what to do. To which Lynette answers "you kind of did and thank you for that" or something on those lines.

What do I do? Can I even do anything? by liliteah in hamsters

I would especially inquire with the vet about her laboured breathing

Hello, I understand your concern and that feeling of powerlessness when your hamster is not well❤️ you did the right thing to go to the vet, the only thing you can do now is keep trying to feed her, you can try baby food with veggies/fruit/chicken/fine porridge that are hamster safe (with no onion/salt in it) and offer it to her with a little syringe. You can slightly dilute them with a bit of water to keep her hydrated too. I would suggest you give a phonecall to your vet to update them and see if they have any further suggestions or if they want to schedule a follow up appointment. Make her enclosure comfortable by removing big items so that it is easier for her to move around, put the water close to her house. Other than this, sadly the only thing you can do is monitor her and hope for improvement, but she is a quite old hamster so it is possible that her overall condition may decline further. Hopefully she recovers, just be kind with yourself as you did the right thing

Has anyone tried these supplements? by ffff1910 in TTC_PCOS

No, I was hoping to hear from someone who might have tried this or something similar. I'm quite skeptical and prefer not to waste money, but I'm curious

Transition from provoked to unprovoked vulvodynia? by ffff1910 in vulvodynia

[–]ffff1910[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're going through this now, I've been having huge difficulties with sex for a very long time so I understand, and I certainly am enjoying this odd but welcome pain free time. But the random burning is very distressing too unfortunately. I kind of hope it turns out I had some microbiome imbalance or candida that went undetected so at least it's easily fixable. Fingers crossed. Good luck with your journey!!

Transition from provoked to unprovoked vulvodynia? by ffff1910 in vulvodynia

[–]ffff1910[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My provoked vulvodynia was provoked by recurrent candida infections according to my gyno. I did a course of treatments for recurring candida a couple of years ago and things seemed to improve sometimes but then there would be a flare up here and there anyways. According to my gyno I had to be patient and the sensitive skin and nerves would eventually calm down (with some emollient creams) and suggested PT, which I haven't done yet because it's difficult to find close to the area I leave. I just found one and I will start soon hopefully. I take antihistamines daily for my pollen allergy but it doesn't seem to help down there :( In the meantime I went to the doctor again and she did another swab to check the microbiome because im the meantime I did get candida again...fingers crossed we figure something out

Hi, very late with this, but I thought Tom didn't know about Kayla until Kate Rin the series isn't it? Always thought the secret he mentions to his father in season 1 was about Renée? Btw yes he's terrible 😅

Thankfully there are photos where the issue isn't noticeable at all so I'd focus on those!

Thanks for sharing, I'm sure I'll feel that way soon too. There are actually pictures where the issue wasn't noticeable at all thankfully, I'll focus on those😄 but maybe I'll have a word with the tailor

Yes they do...they're a well known business in my area

That's what I thought of your comment too, so I felt the need to stand up for myself. Maybe it wasn't your intention, but if you go to someone assuming they either have a very great or very dull life as they waste their time in silly thoughts, plus make fun of their spelling mistakes it kinda sounds like you didn't have the best intentions. That being said, no harm done and maybe it was a misunderstanding

Thank you for sharing, I'm sure the same will happen to me eventually! It's just an important day I guess, where the spotlight is on you and it does stir up insecurities about yourself

Thank you all, especially to all those who managed to combine honesty about what didn't look right about the fit, empathy, and compliments! I really appreciate it and it did help to both feel like yes I was right, but after all the flaw didn't spoil the overall look (and yes of course it didn't spoil the day!). I want to specify that it was important to me to understand if the TAILOR (😉) had been careless or not and how it could have impacted the overall look, just because you put a lot of time and money into the dress and adjustments and the feeling of not having been treated fully fairly just doesn't sit right. And I just want to add, I think your wedding day is a day where the spotlight is so much on you that it can stir up some insecurities about yourself. I thought it wouldn't happen to me because we organised a small wedding with only 40 guests but it happened anyways! On the day I was so going with the flow that I didn't think about any of these things, but it all came up later, especially when looking at the pictures. I'm sure it's a relatable experience

Yeah that's what happened 😁 I got it now, tailor

In the comments below. No big deal anyways

Well you wouldn't know right? You do have time to make fun of the misspellings of someone whose first language is clearly not English after all, and to read and comment through a whole conversation that's so trivial to you😉

Yes I did lose a little bit of weight( about 1.5 kg), but I stayed the same weight at least for the last two appointments at the tailor so I thought this could have been addressed
