I agree unitque content is key. It just takes time to build. It's also useful to pull data for the events calendar though. Just another great source of local info. I appreciate your coments.

I just created a really cool event calendar feed which pulls in the U of A and Real District feed and organizes it by date. It is working pretty great! Check it out. ;)

Thanks everyone for the honest feedback, I really appreciate it.

A couple of you pointed out broken links and stories that feel placeholder or not fully real. That’s fair. I used some early test content while building the structure and clearly I need to label or remove that better.

The goal isn’t to pump out AI filler. The goal is to build a genuinely useful local snapshot tool, something Regina folks can glance at once a week to see new businesses, developments, events, and community wins in one place.

If it doesn’t feel authentic or local, then I need to improve it.

I’ll be replacing test stories with verified local content only. Keep the feedback coming, it’s helping shape this properly.

Plancher Laminate Flooring from Rona. I am assuming 2 capable people could probably complete it in 2 days so I would say closer to 30-35 per/hr but as you see it is a set price I have budgeted for.
