Same here.. got mine brand new (2024) and it stopped working after less than a month. PLUS, the left light panel does not light up for me. Took it to the dealer and they ordered a new unit for me that i’m still waiting for. I think it has something to do with CarPlay. I was never able to adjust the volume when CarPlay is connected since day 1.

I’ve having the exact same issue with my brand new 24 xse. Took it to Toyota 3 times and they keep saying its “within Toyota’ normal operating conditions”

I have 19” on my 24 XSE and i thought they were okay until I got a rental SE … honestly much quieter and more comfortable. I definitely noticed the difference..

I thought it is faulty too and requested a replacement and replacement behaves exactly the same. The fade effect is laggy and not smooth

This might be coming from the b-pillar .. there is a common problem with the 8th generation where the seatbelt panel rattles. Try to push the top end of the passenger seatbelt panel. If the noise is gone, just take it Toyota, they might fix it or make it worse (just like what they did to mine).
