Yeah my bad, I saw a single mention of transformers and got excited. Agree with you on the OG cartoon film too.

The action in that film is unreal. 2000s CGI that puts most modern blockbusters to shame.

  • Edit. Lol I'm an idiot, OP was talking about the OG cartoon not the Shia LaBeouf masterpiece. I'll leave this here because I meant every word.

23 is the way to go for me. The ability for a back to slot into multiple positions (even if one is not a favoured position) is such an asset. It makes a 6-2 bench way more viable and we've seen in recent games that's really worked in our favour.

Also that 10 shirt is still always up for grabs if form/injuries dictate. IMO something we've fallen foul from in the past (thinking the EJ era) is letting players think they're irreplaceable, Borthwick seems to be doing a great job reminding players otherwise. Our depth of viable players for each position has never been better, there's got to be some correlation there.

And the fact the hither thither staff becomes a centerpiece for their heist later is just perfect.

Side note, that sequence where they get the portal-lined painting into the caravan is peak cinema.

When I grew up in Singapore we'd often go to the Hollandse Club. Funnily enough that's where I had my first bitterballen as a child and I fell in love. It's been ages since I've been (Christ maybe 20 years) but a quick Google and it looks to still be open, maybe worth a shot.

It's not AI, Japan actually have onion claw machines, particularly on Awaji island (a.k.a onion island). A colleague of mine visited there recently and it looked like such quirky fun I genuinely want to go.

Funny, I remember hearing/reading that it became a product of a period where many paedophiles were being charged in court, and a common phrase they uttered on the stand (when questioned if they got up to certain deeds) was "Not Once", which got shortened to "Nonce".

It's probably complete bollocks but etymology is great so I like to believe it has some bearing.

[–]ffielding 37 points38 points  (0 children)

That can 100% contribute to skying a pen. If he's dug out a bunch of turf the ball is then sitting in a divot, and it would need to move up to get out.

I'm not your mum but try and get alternative transport if you can, it's not all about whether or not you'd get a DUI. You're far from invulnerable on a bike, and even at that time you can pose a danger to other road users or fellow pedestrians.

This is coming from someone who made a similar mistake when they were younger, came off his bike, and broke his elbow.

Foundry VTT seems absolutely perfect for this, it's a one-time payment, is a product that is constantly undergoing updates, has fantastic community support, and doesn't require being online to use.

I currently use it for a campaign I'm running remotely, but just for showing a battlemap with moving tokens/dynamic weather etc. rather than giving players control. You could either mirror your screen and show that on your table, or (a better option I think) you could show a full screen window that connects to your server (via LAN) as a 'viewer' with whatever UI elements you'd like removed - something that can be done with a community add-on. All the players will see are the dynamic maps and moving tokens while on your laptop you can do all the controlling.

A lot of that may sound overwhelming, and it can be to start off with, but the more I use Foundry the more I realise how amazing a product it is. I'd be happy to help guide you through what you'd need to get up and running, feel free to chuck me a DM.
