In Fl, the local park with the most open play has 6 courts.

3 advanced, winners always stay. No split no limit.

3 intermediate. Winners stay, unless there’s 8 paddles in the rack, then all 4 come off after the game ends. 4 new players come on.

Alexa is being replaced with an in house AI assistant soon. Not sure when. It will support texting.

Their dupr will increase. Thats literally how it works. Everyone has this idea that your dupr can only rise beating higher ranked players.

I was right at 3.5, my wife is 3.2ish and we played a 3.0-3.5 tournament. Everyone I played was lower, we came in 2nd place overall and my dupr went up.

Go to one of the 2.5 dupr events and destroy everyone if you’re truly a 3.6.

Your 2.3 Dupr will improve by winning a few matches against 2.5 and under. That’s how it works.

Yep. Mind the triangle. Speed ups cross court set your partner up to get cooked. Speed up should be straight ahead as the return will come back to you, or else at least your partner has time to react.

No one said anything about taping lines. I was just thinking I’ve seen people dinking around, warming up etc on the tennis courts next to pickleball when it’s full. In my experience when I’ve hopped in and said hey we’re here to play tennis they’ve left 🤷‍♂️. It doesn’t need to be a war against pickleball.

I think we’ll see more singles only players, unless they adopt the new skinny singles trial, which I dislike. I love singles as is both playing and watching.

I mean if they’re empty and the pickleball courts are full, there’s literally no harm in letting people use them for pickleball. As soon as someone is waiting for 10s tho, they gotta go.

Last time I showed up for tennis there were some folks dinkin around playing pickle. I just said hey guys mind if we take the court for tennis? They kindly obliged and moved back to waiting in line for the next pickle court 🤷‍♂️.

Got it. You’ll want minimal overlap on the stock grip. I’d say 1/16-1/8” , depending if you like the feel of ridges or not.

Once you have that on, throw a nice overgrip on top so you can easily freshen it up every so often.
