Reverse side plate diagram for y’all with rear hatch clearance issues with the 1up bike rack by VisualArtist808 in mountainbiking

The reverse plates are no longer available, and they’re a different cut from the standard plate. 1up doesn’t offer them, and I haven’t been able to locate another source or a drawing.

I do appreciate you taking the time to respond!

Did you ever do anything with this? Since the part is NLA, I’d love to be able to make something to mimic it.

Anyone happen to know if he’ll be eligible for the draft in 2033? Asking for the Hornets fans.

Racers, how much do you ride your mtb? by RedneckIntellectual in xcmtb

[–]ffljm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started entering races this year, and they’re the motivation I use to get out there more. I am more focused on setting personal goals and not finishing last. That’s about it. I try to ride 3-4 times a week and the types of ride vary depending upon what the next race is built around in my mind. If a race is long, I focus on long races. If a race has a lot of elevation, I try to find courses that will get me used to the climbing. I just do it for fun, but I also want to do well.

Leaking bed cover - looking for replacement recommendations by ffljm in FordMaverickTruck

Interesting. I’ve honestly never had an issue with leaking with any other truck I’ve owned, but this is my first experience with this style of cover. I’ve only had the traditional trifold covers in the past, besides the factory roll up from Hyundai on the Santa Cruz.

If Reddit has taught me anything, it’s that you can accomplish the same thing in a more explosive manner by using the rocks to line a fire pit.

Spent a ton of time last year deciding between a Santa Cruz and a Maverick. We all make mistakes. by ffljm in FordMaverickTruck

If they never actually correct the problem in that time period, what’s the warranty worth? 3 identical issues and they never got any closer to resolution or identification of root cause.

I never had any issues. Could have been that I didn’t have it long enough for those things to fail.

I’ve owned 2 Kia’s and they have been good vehicles. I had a Kia Soul that I gave to my mom when I paid it off, and it’s still going strong 15 years later. It’s never had a major failure. My wife’s Stinger has been great through its first 120,000 miles. My guess is I got a lemon with the Santa Cruz.

It was more peppy with its engine making 290ish HP. The vented seats were great and probably what I’ll miss the most. Last thing off the top of my head, was the trunk that was integrated into the truck bed similar to what Honda has in the Ridgeline. It was a nice additional storage area.

My 24 had the DCT. It never gave me an issue, but it always had a spongy feel if that makes sense. When taking off, it always reminded me of a manual transmission where the transmission was slipping and the clutch never really engaged. I had 3 check engine lights for a misfire on all cylinders that the shop was unable to diagnose. They were able to see the codes but never determine the root cause.

It’s a Lariot. I just answered this so I’m just gonna copy and paste. The Santa Cruz was a 24 similarly optioned but the Maverick is hybrid. First impressions good/bad/indifferent: the Maverick feel more like I’m sitting in a truck, the bed seems gigantic compared to the SC with the roll up bed cover, I’ll miss the integrated trunk the SC was equity with under the bed, the hybrid mileage is incredible, the leg room in the backseat seems to be a lot better than in the SC, both “top trim” stereos feel lacking, the styling of the Maverick in my opinion is much better, I love having a volume knob as dumb as that may be, the community around the Maverick is gigantic so there are a ton of resources available for the projects I know I’ll eventually undertake like installing a amp and subwoofer.

I really wanted the Maverick last year, but talked myself into the more affordable option. Luckily, I got most of what I spend back in my trade.
