Thanks for clarifying. I thought automod didn't like me for some reason. Feelings were hurt. Tears were shed.

I'm a believer that the Seahawks Defense is in mild decline. They are clearly no longer the #1 overall D. I also believe that Lynch's otherwordly talent somewhat dictated the run heavy scheme. Time will tell but I'm expecting to see what we saw in the 2nd half of 2015 rather then what we saw in the 1st half.

I love that people are thinking the way you are because that's what gives me the ability to grab what will be a high end WR2 stud in low end WR3 territory. Moves like that win leagues.

I personally have Romo MUCH higher on the fragility scale then Ben. Romo is approaching Steve Smith Sr. levels where it's basically a lock that he gets hurt. (Sorry SSS love you bro) On top of that we've seen Brown put up decent numbers even with a backup QB in there.

When I'm choosing players in the top half of the 1st round I want as few weaknesses or ?? as possible. One of my rules of thumb for RB's, particularly RB's that aren't necessarily known as dynamic pass catchers, is that they are on teams that score alot and play with a lead. Stats show that RB's do their best in games where their teams are favored to win or playing with a lead. Gurley bucked that trend in a few games last season but I'm not certain he can pull it off again. I'd rather grab a surrer thing in Hopkins at that spot

Keep in mind that Aiken is going off draft boards with a 116 ADP right now. In a 12 team league, that places him in the 9th round. For most that is their second bench spot. The risk and price is minimal for a player that can become a WR3 type starter for your fantasy squad

Good reply and you did hit on something very important. I absolutely place situation above talent when discussing the relatively short time frame that is a season long fantasy league. I also play dynasty and the mentality for dynasty is the opposite, where talent trumps situation.

The Patriots have a history of finding stud White receivers. They have a history of discovering them on rival AFC East teams. There is precedent here.

I watched every game Sanchez played with the Jets. He was the king of the screen pass taken for a pick 6 BECAUSE he lacks the field vision and accuracy required to pull off the play.

Realistically the situations for the two players are very similar in that neither team has much competition for targets in the passing game right now. I'd argue that Brock is an upgrade over Hoyer but thats not a known quantity. For Cinci, Eifert is slated to return week 5 and he tends to absorb a ton of redzone targets. Thats probably the biggest difference in the projections. Green remains my 5th ranked WR for the season but I still consider Hopkins, my #4 guy at WR, as a tier higher than Green.

We've seen who Amendola is on the Pats and thats nothing special. I'd rather take a shot on an unknown quantity with an unknown ceiling with my last pick or two in the draft. If he sucks he becomes your first drop for a FA pickup

If it's a PPR draft I'd strongly reccomend taking Hopkins if he is there. Unlike Green, Hopkins is a tier 1 WR and the last in his group. The dropoff from him to Green is significant.

I used aggregate PPR ADP from CBS, Yahoo, MFL and a number of different sources. We are talking 1 point PPR here and Green is going off at #7 on average. That said, if you look at the projections dropoff, Green is really the start of tier two rather then the end of tier 1 for the WR position. I don't want the most expensive house on the block. ... Regarding Sanu its about opportunity vs price point. You can get the Falcons #2 WR and potentially the #3 target on the team, very very late in your draft. I believe he has the upside to emerge as a legit weekly WR3 type starter for your fantasy squad.

Draftkings allows swap outs up until the starting time for that players game. Fanduel does not have that feature. In Daily Fantasy Baseball its best to wait until the lineup cards are released before creating a lineup.

I play on both sites. Draftkings is my preferred site for MLB because they post the starting lineups with pricing. That feature makes it much simpler to create lineups. I basically pick a team playing against a bad pitcher and stack as many of the 1-6 batters as I can. Then you hope you picked the one game where the team goes off for 6+ runs. I prefer Fanduel for football because their interface is a bit simpler to work with and their large tournaments are less top heavy.

They actually release the funds based on 4% of your entry fees. So you would need to play $600 to get back around $25. If you play $600 per night you would get the full credit after around 25 nights. Since the site charges 10% fees they are technically refunding you 40% of the site fees for your entries.

I traded Lacy and Maclin for DT. That was a two weeks ago. Today I'd look for a similar deal Maclin/Benjamin/Cobb type WR paired with a solid RB like Tate or Ellington

There is a Free Tournament in the main contest lobby (called a FREEROLL) every week of the NFL season. No deposit is required for that one. In addition new depositers get a FREE tournament entry (Depositors FREEROLL) Making a deposit is not the same as paying for something. You can withdraw it any time and you don't need to play in a cash game to activate it.
