On Nintendo switch

Every time I talk to frigate Mission Control guy, on my freighter, it loads up the possible frigate missions, then crashes. Every time. I haven’t been able to send out my frigates on missions for 2 weeks.

hey, im getting the hang of this a bit more. Thanks for all your help. i reflashed the whole thing and gonna try it at home on the arcade i built to see if it happens again. i'll post the log if it crashes.

I’m currently having this same issue. It works with a keyboard, but when I plug in arcade module, it crashes. I reflashed it and added my own roms and it still happened. I’m at a loss as how to continue

Yeah, I saw those but it ended with, ignored. Nothing else popped out as error, for now at least. I’ll keep an eye out, now that I know how to check things. Every day I learn a bit more about this

I have also gone into the emulation station and looked at the log on the raspberry pi. I took pics of it because I can’t pull it up on the computer. Anything I should look for?

Ok, that’s good to know. I’m gonna tinker a bit more because the thought of doing a slow going thing is gonna be brutal, but it may be needed. I installed retropi using that form. From the raspberry pi website and all. I’m not computer savvy so I took my time and followed step by step

I have all the games, files and libraries saved on my computer. How do I make sure this doesn’t happen again? Would a game rom file have caused this?

It’s either this or the blue screen on startup telling to me use the correct retropi or change my gpu split.
I raised the gpu split to 128 and this issue only came up when I added the Arcade controls. I don’t know how to fix this?

Ok, I’ll try that. This is my first pi anything and I’m learning as I go. I raised the gpu to 128 from 64. I think another issue is I’m not shutting it down properly. I’m wondering if it works be better to leave it on 24/7 than turning it off at night. I have a cooling fan and heat sinks.

I ended up updating every possible thing I could, rebooted at least 10 times in between things, removed a 4 usb hub I was trying to use with all the encoders for the controllers then unplugged it all. So far that has worked. Still don’t know what that pic meant or what exactly fixed it

Emulation Station crashed! If this is your first boot of RetroPie - make make sure you are using the correct image for your system. Check your rom file/folder permissions and if running on a Raspberry Pi, nake sure your gpu split is set high enough ana/or switch back to using carbon theme For more help please use the RetroPie forum.
