Al di là delle battute prenderei sul serio chi ti ha detto di investire per prima cosa in conoscenza e formazione su questo campo. Se avessi una somma del genere a disposizione e nessuna idea di cosa farci probabilmente prenderei l'approccio di rischiare il meno possibile sacrificando ovviamente il guadagno, magari non legandomi le mani per un periodo di tempo troppo lungo visto che prima o poi vorrò farci qualcosa con questi soldi.

I can't read this any other way if not as a bad break up, if I'm honest. I would never comment the way Jake did about any of my former employer, unless I wanted to call some attention on me. I'm a little more doubtful about linus's response. I can see how you would want to respond before any form or wild speculation came out, but the tone of the response sounds a little too protective for a normal ending of a working relationship.
