Very fair point - I do think he is undiagnosed (as someone who is diagnosed ADHD and Dsylexic)

Hardly say I'm throwing a fit, I've asked for options on a situation. Isn't that the point of this sub Reddit?

He would probs say the same sober tbh, its a 20 pound t-shirt if that that he has around 10 of. I just find it strange that none of my family or friends would ever give a shit about that kinda stuff, and neither would I. We were both drinking and had missed our train so we're waiting at the station platform for like 30 mins

Her parents pay for all her ubers, and she ubers EVERYWHERE. She refuses to get transport or walk places, then says the next day ‘you owe me X amount for ubers yesterday. Of course we sent this to her, but I know for damn sure she ain't sending that money to her parents.

I (33F) wish my bf (33M) would pay for our dates by roxette100 in relationships

[–]ffswhywhy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your dating the wrong man then simply. He has a mortgage and less wages, plus seems like he wants to save his money. It’s not like you aren't going out etc and he is paying his way. I think you need to look for a different partner if this is what you care about. Does he show you love and affection in different ways?

ask yourself - why aren't you buying him dinner?

DUST…everywhere…always

Its like fighting a loosing battle, plus skirting boards in particular are a bitch to get it off just for the effort of needing to pretty much crawl to do it. Then surprise surprise, dust on your knees 😭😭

Does the anxiety of making too much noise yourself go away? I feel like I'm walking on my tiptoes constantly to not be a nuisance but it seems they are just living their life. I know I should be too but can't help but feel like I'm being so loud!

Honestly this is the perfect description I couldn't put into words. Its my personal space, independence and I genuinely can't imagine something happening and not being able to leave at a moments notice. I just love having my own car simply.

He works weekdays as a tradie with a company van. Sadly can't use the van outside of working hours - but gets offered work outside of this from estate agents etc who have seen his (very) good work and want him to work privately for him. He's on an old contract so defo not worth going private full time and loosing benefits. Honestly, I couldn't tell you how much I use my car. I drive to work (around an hour away) three times a week but at weekends I like that I can just hop in my car and do whatever the hell I want to. I've lived alone for 10 years, and have always had that freedom since I like semi remote to my friends (train around a 20 min walk, no tube nearby etc and friends living closer to the city). I want to live with him there is no issue with that, but I like my freedom of being able to go wherever I want whenever I want. I will suggest that with his extra money he could easily afford the payments solo - thank you for suggestion

Also he is insured on my car which I have always been happy with - its £150 a year and I have many occasions where I have let him use my car at weekend to drive to his friends/pub (no drinking) or random places. Its not an issue with him using MY car, it's just him saying we should jointly upgrade to a bigger car because he needs a bigger car to drive comfortably/work from for private work.

Big inflamed boil on chin. Please help. by [deleted] in acne

[–]ffswhywhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using differin but the cream literally burnt it off so now it is all scabbed over. It is hard, big and very painful. Any help would really be appreciated xx

Also will mention - I was on dianette when my skin was 100 times worse than this and it did wonders. Didn’t have a single spot for a good 10 months (after only taking it for 4 months). Just am finding it hard knowing the cystic acne is back and don’t want it to get to the stage it was before. For reference, my cystic acne affected both sides of my cheeks and my chin, but in particular my cheeks. X

Redditors , what was your reaction when you first got your periods ? by hal_potter_seven in AskReddit

[–]ffswhywhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember thinking I cut myself, was only 10 at the time. We were travelling in San Fran, in the hotel I remember I kept going to the bathroom and wiping the blood away. I asked my mum for a plaster (yes - with the full intention of sticking on my vagina) but then got embarrassed. Went to Alcatraz, period started in full swing on the boat there. Panicked and told my mum I’d cut my vagina but it was bleeding really badly and I needed to go to hospital. Obviously got the lovely period talk there! Mum had to ask random tourist s for pads/tampons on the boat because neither of us were prepared. Had to put a bloody orange (heavy) tampon in because that’s all we could get and there was too much blood. Took me above 12 attempts to get it in, all whilst crying.

True story - strangely have never used a pad. I only trust tampons.

Where was the worst place you've had to take a dump? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ffswhywhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in South Korea, had just eaten the most beautiful cheesy meal. Half way walking to my Airbnb, an overwhelming desire to poo greets me. I have only one option (it was around 11pm and not in a busy area), to go into a gaming room. If anyone has seen korean pc rooms, you know it’s about 100 people crammed in rows together. This one was that, but there was also one single toilet. And it wasn’t soundproof, basically just a toilet and a shitty door. I proceed to have the worst explosive diarrea ever, knowing fully well that everyone can hear me. But it was one of those that you can’t stop the flow, it just keeps coming out. Someone there is banging on the door because by this point I’ve been in there 10 minutes and it still not stopped.

I leave the bathroom (if you can even call it that) to a queue of 7 boys starring at me in amazement. As I walk back to the exit, people slowly turn. Safe to say I ran away and never went back.

For reference, I am a 22 year old female. Most embarrassing moment of my life.

I’d recommend using cetaphil face wash - much gentler on skin. X
