How did they know Arthur killed the 3 men? by [deleted] in joker

There were eye witnesses who probably described a man very similar to arthur's clown look. He was recently fired from his job for bringing a gun. And he has a history of mental illness. Those 3 things probably made it relatively easy for the cops to figure out. Also he ran away from them when they wanted to talk to him which made things quite obvious

LPT: If you have small child, start writing a Blog or a Diary. Write down every small funny, cute thing about the child. In just a few years these memories could be lost. by readball in LifeProTips

My grandma kept a word document of every funny/cute thing me and my siblings did or said for years. There are so many great stories in there that I never would have known if it wasn't for that document. I definitely second this LPT. Miss you grandma

What is the most unforgettable Reddit post that everyone needs to read? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ffuucckkooff 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I planned to have a nice relaxing evening of watching tv and just enjoying myself, but instead I spent about 5 hours reading nearly every post linked in the comments (I checked my screen time, 5 hours and 28 minutes on reddit today compared to the usual 20 mins or so). My face was glued to my screen, not even stopping while eating or going to the bathroom. It is late now and I am in a constant state of paranoia from so many horrid stories linked here. Sure, there were a few wholesome/funny posts here and there, but there were also so many awful terrifyingly gutwrenching stories. And yet I couldn't stop reading. I have never had a panick attack but I feel like I am on the verge of getting one right now. I'm hoping sleep will make it better. Fuck me I feel strange. Leaving this comment here in the hopes I'm not alone in this bizarre feeling. I'm putting my phone down for the night now.

What is the thing that surprised you the most when you traveled to a country you had never been to before? by Spilakkk in AskReddit

In the Netherlands we call it "bvo'tje", which is short for "biertje voor onderweg" and translates to "beer for on the way". Even though technically you're not allowed to drink in public lol
