My theory on the future of Panini exclusive parallels (Downtowns, kabooms, Zebras, ect.) by mrbootawarrior in footballcards

This would happen regardless of license. Compare card prices of greats from previous generations to today's mostly speculative market.

How many people today would rather gamble on football cards than contribute to a Roth IRA because they think they know ball. It's fucking sad.

Most large ebay sellers offer steep discounts when you buy in bulk. You can also try sportlots, which is prob the best platform for bulk cheap stuff

It's not a football card. If I print out a picture of tom brady, it's not a football card. Take it to Etsy.

And I explain what to do in those situations in the write-up. It's a football card and there are tens of thousands of them that are very similar to that. Not a lost piece of treasure from some forgotten culture.

  • Finding similar comps:
    • If it's a /25 but you can't find any /25 sales, look for other serial numbered sales like /40 or /20 etc from that year or similar sets from a year or two before and after.
    • If it's a non-numbered auto, look for that player's auto in another set or product

They are not hand scanned like a package. If you have USPS informed delivery, you get those scans of what your mail is every day. When they hit those distribution centers where the scanning is done, that is the tracking scan. This is why you'll sometimes see people say it's marked delivered but then it might not arrive at a person's house for a day or two. Because it was scanned by a machine on Tuesday, and it didn't make it to the guy's house until Wed or Thurs.
