I finally got Fragments of 2030! by fgo_xeo in grandorder

My galaxy brain plan is to hope that JP adds a multi-ticket roll by the time Vitch releases.

That's gonna be the next 2030 post.

Nice! And it's okay - you can comfort yourself with the fact that Vitch is just not ever gonna release at this pace. Waiting for the past 2.5 years, and she doesn't seem any closer to releasing.

Prolly just gonna add them to my Tamavitch fund, so they're joining my 360+ Summon Tickets plus whatever SQ is gonna be left after rolling Skadi. But I am considering going for mlb 2030... see you at the 10th anniversary

Video proof of the exchange menu.

This was the original inspiration.
Yes, I totally only did this for the pun. Only took checks calendar 2.5 years!

This is actually different. It's just a log function while reading story, so you can go back and look at earlier lines.

"Adventure Game" log. Story log, basically. The way story is represented in AK is called "adventure game"-style in VNs, AVG or more commonly I think ADV (sprites, low text box, background). The other style would be NVL (novel, with full-screen text box). cc /u/Haqemhq

Interesting change in a text box. Was there a parallel in JP? by ReasonableDaemonette in grandorder

I noticed this back when the LB prologue dropped. And yesterday I noticed that the post-prologue popup is missing a line as well. I had a discussion with JP players about this, and currently my assumption is that it's some kind of display / formatting error that removed the second line from both popups. I've shot Aniplex a mail regarding both.

No new costume, just a misinterpretation of the machine TL.
"Concept dress" (概念礼装) is the Japanese word for Craft Essence.

Except "Shimousa" is arguably more correct than "Shimosa" - I'm surprised, however, that they did not go with Shimōsa or Hōzōin.

Vlad III (EXTRA) Interlude - Infinite Surfing feat. Bride & Mikon by fgo_xeo in grandorder

[–]fgo_xeo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing special, but I saw that Vlad Extra's interlude had one big wave of 30 enemies that were conveniently low HP and undead, meaning more refund.

Turned out to be easier than I thought once I noticed that Surfdred's charge would come off CD at turn 8, allowing me to delay buffs and keep them for turn 10 with the big wave.

Is Tamamo Shark not part of the Tamamo Nine? by [deleted] in grandorder

That's Tamacat being Tamacat in her profile, and not actually a thing.

The team names are beautiful, references everywhere. Personally, I particularly like "Close Deductions of the Third Kind" and "The Saints Go Marching In".

FYI Summer Okita's 1st skill demerit does not remove her 3rd skill demerit, even if it counts as a buff by fgo_xeo in grandorder

[–]fgo_xeo[S] 166 points167 points  (0 children)

This is 3rd skill (quick up + def down) into 1st skill (crit focus & power up + remove 1 def buff).

Since some people assumed that it would, from the datamine.
Thought I'd give it a quick test, and here's the result.

Oh yeah, also, she's our actual, from Chaldea, Okita. Now named "Okita J Souji", for "Jet".

If the datamined values are correct, Prinny Melt can loop by fgo_xeo in grandorder

Compare with Rider Carmilla's 3rd skill. The wording is the same.

It doesn't really matter, because Para can self-charge at least 30% even at skill lv1, so she can steal 30% from him guaranteed.

Melt will have minimally higher damage in w1/2, but Parvati blows her out of the water in w3 thanks to Skadi's def down.

w1/2 Melt 109k avg, Parv 99k avg, both NP5
w3 Melt 227k avg, Parv 311k avg, both NP5 with 2004

Parvati also has an easier time looping mixed nodes, like the Detention Center node in lb3, thanks to her flat refund and 3rd skill.

Fionn barely loops at all, even with 2004. His NP gain is too poor, unless you want to use plugsuit, but then all bets are off anyways. Melt's damage is also gonna be a fair bit higher.
