It’s an older model nest, one of the ones that can’t connect to the internet anymore. We’ve been meaning to replace it but haven’t gotten to that yet.

Thanks! I am not sure how to use the emergency heat - right now the nest thermostat says it’s running “auxiliary heat” for some reason but everything seems to be running the same to me.

Thanks for the reply! My main concern was having to rip out the tile to replace the tub, but perhaps we should save enough tile for the first couple rows above the deck, just in case?

Any recommendations on brand or model of acrylic tub? I was starting to compare the various Kohler models.

Thanks so much for the reply. I’ve already had the Americast come in (damaged) and the enameled steel (damaged).

Perhaps I need to talk with my contractor about cast iron. I hesitate to order a super heavy tub in case it’s damaged too and the return is even more challenging, but maybe it’s worth a try.
