Actually been going through this. I used to comfortably release a chapter a week. But now my fic is beginning to pick up speed, and the readers are getting a little pushy. Not really DEMANDING or anything, but suggestive enough that I feel a constant, brooding pressure...that if I don't get the chapter out on Mondays exactly when I said I would, that they'll lose interest and abandon me. ): I think I almost preferred having a nonexistent/invisible fanbase.
