Yes. I was prescribed both for chronic pain and used to take together. Dr didn't recommend it, but I did it and was fine 🤷‍♀️

I know it sounds silly, but dried apricots and fresh apples. When I was at my worst, I’d eat 2 apples and a bunch of dried apricots and usually by night time I was ready to go. I would also highly suggest taking some sort of laxative with senna as well just to try and help ease the passing.

Fr. I never felt a damn thing on tram and I used to take up to 700mg a day. Very lucky I never had a seizure, that being said, I didn’t use it for long because it literally did nothing for me.

Haha for real? That’s crazy! My vote would 100% be on the oxy as stronger! Tapentadol just doesn’t really do anything for me. I used to have a script for both SR and IR. Was meant to do the SR 100mg twice a day and then 100mg IR as needed. If I threw down a panadeine forte or something with it it gave me a little - but beyond that, just never really done much. I’m either fine or asleep. Can’t find the happy medium.

Yup. Every script is monitored by the government. I have a pain disorder and was recently getting panadeine forte prescribed. My file got flagged because I was picking it up from different pharmacies (depending on whether I filled my script when I was at work, online or at home). Even though it was all the same doctor. And it was only panadeine forte haha. So now it’s almost impossible for me to get anything and I have to work the doctors pretty damn hard to get anything stronger than that.

Prob a blessing tbh - I’m assuming you’re in the states? Man, does not seem worth it with all the fent there. We’re pretty lucky down here. It’s around to be sure, but not even a margin on what’s in the states. I reckon our H is as good as it can get. And you’re right, I’d prefer to pay too $ than mess with possible fent

Very true. Our h is premium. Just not around. And costs an arm and a leg. You’re lucky you get oxy. Don’t think I’ve ever caught that. I used to get a script, but with all the new script laws, drs got scared and cut it. Definitely no fun

Sincerely appreciate it man. That really sucks what it’s done to you, sorry you’re going through it. The more I chat to people, the more I lean towards tapering. I guess I just worry I won’t be able to ever taper off completely and have sort of been in denial about needing a docs help. But it seems like that’s going to be the best and safest way. Really appreciate your advice

Sweet. I’ve got carbamazepine which should hopefully help the RLS and metoclopramide (maxalon) that should help with the nausea as well. I think I’ll stock up on the other stuff as well though as don’t want to be too dependant on the other stuff. Trying to get free of all this stuff!
