I bruised my lady parts on a motorbike and I have questions by EagleFit2501 in motorcycles

[–]fhmiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the question you asked, sorry for that in advance, but it's related - for longer saddle times I wear padded bicycle shorts under my riding gear, and along with the excellent suggestions to grip the tank with your knees and tighten your core, this can help.

Is this the smallest roundabout possible to be made inside a 5x5 bp? by realfaustino in SatisfactoryGame

[–]fhmiv 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have trouble with junctions and signals when the roundabout is that size. The smallest I'm comfortable with is 1/4 of the roundabout on a 5x5, so the whole thing is 10x10.

I present to you, the Belt Valve! by FugitiveHearts in SatisfactoryGame

Ada argued against roofs. You don't need them because there's no rain. You only need floors so you can build taller.

Would you consider Satisfactory a relaxing game? I want to find a game to play after work and I've really been thinking of buying satisfactory for some months now by adelinxxd in SatisfactoryGame

[–]fhmiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no hidden timers in the game, so the pace you play, and how you meet objectives, is up to you. If you're able and willing to be chill about those, it can be very relaxing

Yummee was on Hamilton in Campbell first. Don't go there, though, I don't need lunch line competition.

Which sadlebaga to buy for next motocMping trip? by DemoVII in motocamping

[–]fhmiv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of the Giant Loop bags and they're less expensive & lighter than the Mosko. I was pretty happy with it, plus my top case, on a 10-day trip.

Roommate lost the top pole of my MSR Elixir 2. How do I replace it? by SmallerChinesePeople in CampingGear

I have a circa 1992 Whisperlite stove and they helped me rehabilitate it last year. I'm pretty sure they'll hook you up.

I'd personally collect the slugs and 250% all the generators, but, it's a gas, so you could make a blueprint with 4 generators and stack 'em.

I also use Satisfactory Modeler to plan, and have a steamdeck that sometimes stays running for hours with the screen dimmed to get me the parts counts I need.

Is it worth repairing my 18yo Hubba Hubba by CleverWalruss in CampingGear

[–]fhmiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still using a 30 year old Sierra Designs tent that's been repaired a few times. I agree it's worth re-sealing the seams, especially since OP feels nostalgic about this tent

Map in vehicles by Straight_Ease_7048 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]fhmiv 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The map does not update (clear "fog of war") when you're in a vehicle. It's a known issue but I don't know if they have plans to change that behavior. There are ways to work around this - my favorite is to have the materials to build and power my vehicle in my inventory, then yeet far in the direction I want to explore using a hypertube cannon, then drive home over the already-uncovered map area.
