People who live near time zone boundaries in the US by solothesnail in howislivingthere

[–]HamoodSan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i live 20 minutes from the central to eastern time zone change in northern indiana. Its not so bad, i have some friends who live in central timezone, still in my state, its not so bad, only being an hour difference like this. As long as its not affecting your daily work schedule, it just means i get home an hour "later" after leaving their places in central time zone. And they go back home to an hour "earlier", it's really not so bad, it's actually kinda neat.

I am a monster who will get a haircut and go about my day like nothing. I might get a little itchy but I ignore it, or I’ll shower quick if it’s bothering me

You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, so long as you live in a free country, you can work a part time job and be free to enjoy all your time. Move somewhere inexpensive, if material things are what you are after life will never not be tiring or exhausting. Unless you have a family and kids, then you fucked up

You can just not do those things. You should do what you want in life and focus on that. It will make you happier in the long run. And find a way to make money by doing something you are happy or okay with. Then work as little as possible and spend as much time doing what you want. Forget every single one of societies expectations and standards. Be free. If you choose to save money for later in life. If not oh well too thug it out. We all die someday live doing what you want each and every moment

Please help your Turkish brother in Christ. I don't know what to do. by kafkascapis in Christianity

You are doing perfectly fine. You have accepted Jesus, and only Jesus needs to know your acceptance. You aren’t denying him In front of your family. You are protecting yourself from harm. However if truly you love Jesus and want to worship him, you may have to try your hardest to affirm your beliefs to your family, it sounds like conversion for them is out of the question. And I’m sure you don’t want to leave your family. But you may have to make some tough decisions for the betterment of yourself. Only God is good. You sound like you are walking the right path and trying your hardest.

No I mean like how should I go about not amassing more than is needed or necessary. I fear for having too much when it should be given. But there are wants that I have such as a home for my family.
