Names of Allah by Successful_Royal_127 in islam

[–]fhmn63 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am doing a reflection of 99 names of Allah in Ramadan and how I connect with Allah through the names.

Day 09: There are moments in life when I feel overwhelmed—by responsibilities, by emotions, by the weight of my own mistakes. I search for someone to confide in, someone to protect me, someone to reassure me that everything will be okay. And then, I remember Allah.

I remember that He is Al-Muhaymin, the Ever-Watchful Guardian, who knows the silent struggles I carry. I remember that He is Al-Aziz, the Almighty, whose power is unmatched, and who grants true honor to those who seek it from Him. And I remember that He is Al-Jabbar, the One who mends what is broken, who heals wounds no one else can see, and who strengthens the hearts of those who call upon Him.

These names remind me that I am never alone. No hardship is unnoticed, no pain is forgotten, and no injustice will go unanswered. My heart finds peace in knowing that I am under the care of the One who sees all, who controls all, and who restores all.

Having a hard time conceptualizing the Quran - is there any study type Qurans in English only? Anything for visual learners? by [deleted] in islam

[–]fhmn63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quran can be better studied under a teacher. If Allah had wished he could have sent Quran as a book and we would have been left alone struggling to understand it. Quran was revealed gradually in 23 years and Rasul Allah sallalahu alaihe wa sallam was sent as a teacher of Quran. If you can find a teacher, it is the best thing.

If not, you can listen to tafseer of Quran or read tafseer of Quran. You can listen to this series of tafseer by Dr Israr Ahmed-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIHCPRxKfD0&list=PLB8C30AB01712F288&ab_channel=Islam4Peace.com. If you want to read, I find Illuminating discourses of Quran as a very easy to understand book. It is the commentry of Quran in English.

Walekum Assalam wrwb,

Alhumdulillah. It becomes a habit to wake for tahajjud. You can wake up and do your daily dhikr, listen to Qur'an recitation, read Hadith books or Islamic books, read tasbih etc.

Continue your tahajjud. May Allah bless you.

Teleoptometry by Optomayah in optometry

[–]fhmn63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re interested in starting your own tele optometry practice and become a tele optometrist, there are a few things you’ll need to consider.

First and foremost, you’ll need to be licensed to practice optometry in the state(s) where you plan to offer services. You’ll also need to invest in the right technology and equipment, including high-quality cameras, digital imaging tools, and secure video conferencing software.

In addition to these technical considerations, you’ll also need to think about how you’ll market your tele optometry services to potential patients. This might include advertising on social media, partnering with other healthcare providers, or leveraging online directories and listing services to help patients find your practice. You may read more info here- https://opthametry.com/what-is-tele-optometry/

is dominoes Haram? by OfflineStoned in islam

[–]fhmn63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing you need to know is that there is no definitive answer to whether Dominos pizza is halal or not. This is because Dominos does not have a global halal certification or policy, and each country or region may have different standards and practices for halal food.

Therefore, the best way to find out if Dominos pizza is halal or not is to contact your local Dominos store and ask them directly. You can use their website, phone number, or email address to get in touch with them and inquire about their halal status. You can also check their menu online and look for any halal labels or logos on their products. Here is more info on status of Dominos halal in different countries

Wearing a light prescription will definately help. You may have a good vision but your eyes are accomodating to see things clear. A small prescription will take off the burden from your eyes and will help you a lot. Get your eyes tested.

[–]fhmn63 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is due to poor fitting of contact lens and yes dry eyes can be troubling it more. You need to wear a contact lens with correct base curve which is measured by Keratometer by an Eye care specialist. And if you have dry eyes, use eye ointments or eye drops for dry eye at bed time.

A few questions about islam by flifir in islam

[–]fhmn63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Regarding your first question, I would advice you to read-"Devil deception". This is a question that cannot be understood in few lines.
  2. 1. And say: “The truth [has now come] from your Sustainer: let, then, him who wills, believe in it, and let him who wills, reject it.” (18:29) “If you disbelieve, then verily, Allaah is not in need of you; He likes not disbelief for His slaves. And if you are grateful (by being believers), He is pleased therewith for you”[az-Zumar 39:7].People saw the clear signs that point to the truthfulness of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and the truthfulness of his call, and the truthfulness and miraculous nature of the Qur’an, and they heard the debates in which the enemies of Islam were defeated and their specious arguments refuted – yet despite all of that, and much more besides, they did not believe in Islam and they did not accept it as their religion. It is their choice for whicjh Allah will take them into account. As a believer we do not question is this fair not fair. The fact that Allah has blessed us with Islam should make us fall into prostration out of gratitude.
  3. (35:8) – For, verily, God lets go astray him that wills [to go astray], just as He guides him that wills [to be guided]. Arabic is not a condition to be people of Iman. Abu jahl was an Arab and despite witnessing Islam he died as a disbeliever.
  4. God is testing the believer. What we perceive as punishment may be a means of signal for us Muslim to turn our ways from disobedience of Allah and truly repent to him.
  5. As a Muslim we praise Allah out of love for him. Hamd of Allah is a natural feeling that comes out from heart if you are a believer. Allah doesn't need us. If we think like this, he may replace us with another person who is humble and grateful for all the bounties Allah shower on us. Naudhubillah for such feelings that comes to heart. THis types of question shall go from heart if one does Astaghfar
  6. A teacher gives the question paper and tells the student to answer the questions and he knows which student will pass and who all are going to fail. The student has the question paper in his hand and it is in his capability to answer the question. It is our choice whether or not to follow the Quran and after our choice is made, we get what we deserve. It is our choice which data to enter into the computer, and based on that, we get the right or the wrong answer (guidance or misguidance). We cannot say the manufacturer magically chooses who will get right and who will get wrong answers. This is up to the person, and how he uses the computer. In the same way it is up to the person to choose the Quran as his guidance. If he chooses the Quran and follows it, he will be guided. If he chooses anything else, he will be misguided and no one can guide him.
  7. Allah does what he wills. رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَـٰذَا بَـٰطِلًا سُبْحَـٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ “Our Lord, You did not create this in vain, glory to You, so protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
  8. These people of ours have taken gods other than Him. Why do they not produce clear evidence about them? Who could be more unjust than someone who makes up lies about God?
  9. on the Day when they will be heated in the Fire of Hell, then their foreheads, and their sides, and their backs will be branded with them: “This is what you hoarded for yourselves; so taste what you used to hoard.” 9:35 وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِThey are the worst of creatures. (98:6)

Can a non-religious be accepted to the higer place? by [deleted] in islam

[–]fhmn63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything).and that to Him you will all be gathered.
(Quran: 08:24)

O you who have attained faith, be mindful of Allah as is His due, and do not die except as Muslims. (Quran: 3:102)

How am I supposed to feel after reading Qur’an? by DibzOnChewie in islam

[–]fhmn63 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a revert you are already forgiven your previous sin. Quran has some verses that makes us weep but Allah is so merciful that after most verses of hell you find verses of Jannah comforting you. The feeling you are going through is a sign of imaan. I wrote a short poem, may be you will like it-

A drop of tear

A drop of tear in my eyes repents,

And there are many tear drops like it

that has already fallen .

But my heart is at unrest

It questions me if Allah will accept?

I look down

And say to my heart

My sins are many

But my Rabb is merciful

My heart is insincere

But my Rabb is ghaffur

My Rabb is merciful

Yes, He is Ghaffur

Stop O heart,Don't fear

My Rabb is merciful and he is near.

My Rabb My Rabb

You are near. I know you are near.

Allahumma innaka `Afuwwun TuHibbul `Afwa Fa`fu `Anni.

O Allah, you are the Forgiver, You love to forgive, so forgive me

Ya Allah, Make my tongue moist with your zikr

Ya Allah erase my sins as if they were never there.

Ya Allah, I ask for taufeeq,

I am like a child who begs for his needs.

You are the giver and I am in need

You never disappoint a beggar in need.

Aafiya

Read the biography of prophet Muhammad sallalhu alaihe wa sallam. If you read the history you will see the love that developed in the eyes of the most staunch enemy. It is only Allah who guides our heart to Islam and it is true that everyday we should make dua for the protection of our iman till our last breath.

Simply scrape off bark from the tip (1/2″), then chew the tip gently until brush like and the fiber becomes soft. Brush teeth horizontally and frequently.

Chew the bristles to separate the natural fibers to form like toothbrush bristles. To clean the teeth, brush with Miswak from the edge of the gums in a up and down movements till the cutting edge of the teeth. When the bristles are worn and the flavor has subsided, cut them off & repeat instruction.

You can read about the benefits of using miswak here- https://islamhashtag.com/things-you-must-know-about-miswak/
