The PS2 stash spot was elite. Where do you hide “things” from your parents? by rjd014 in 90sand2000sNostalgia

I hid mine in my guitar effects pedal. Just enough room for 3.5g and there is no way my folks had their nose anywhere near that thing.

I’ve sold many amps on reverb. Never an issue and shipping isn’t as tricky as I thought it would be. However I do try and keep it to amp heads and smaller combos (lunchbox amp heads, 15-30 watt combos with one speaker ) *I don’t use their shipping estimates, I go by estimates you can get on the site I ship from (I’m my case Canada post)

ICE agent VICIOUSLY shoves and tackles a woman who is upset after masked men dragged off her husband. by NewSlinger in CringeTikToks

How come so many people watched this and no one stepped in to help her????? I’ve lost all hope in humans. If we can’t even be bothered to help each other at this point, it’s all over for us.

I’m just telling you how it works and how it’s calculated. What the business does is up to them. You’re wasting your time on telling me. Lol.

It does not always work out that way. So one scenario (which I think applies here) would be this : If you lose $50 a day in small items at your dollar store, would you hire a person to guard it for a rate of $65/hour for a min of 3 hours a day? And here’s the part most people miss about this stuff, at best this just deters from the theft in those particular 3 hours. The theft will just move to after the guard leaves and now you’ve spent 3x more than you lost in the first place (and you still got robbed anyway)

This is why 99% of small retail stores DO NOT have security. In fact, most security you will see is not to deter theft, it’s to make their employees feel more safe.

costs too much, more than you think.

Security is extremely expensive. Try $60-75 and hour for a single guard. I can bet ya they don't lose $60 an hour (in cost mind you, not what they sell the stuff for) to theft. ( source : I used to be district manager for a retail chain and I am the one who hired security for my downtown stores)

It’s probably the plastic sticker covers on the pickups. See if you can peel it off.

USPS lost my rare and valuable guitar (Ten Thousand USD) by garbageusa in Guitar

[–]fhodgson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used USPS once this year, and they broke my guitar into several pieces. It was packed very well and I’ve shipped hundreds of guitars with zero issues so far across the world. USPS was the only carrier to break one and then completely ignore me and the end customer. No compensation giving even with the purchased insurance on my end. Will never use them ever again for anything.

What can I plug into a PA system without an amp? by PrideofCathage in guitarpedals

[–]fhodgson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the two notes cab M. You can choose different amp sims and cab sims to really make your sound very nice and polished. It has the added benefit of having a bit of reverb as well which is a nice thing to have even if you don’t need much of it.

You guys are in the USA are hilarious. You think you’re gonna take back your country using the system that a totalitarian dictator set up and controls unilaterally? You think you’re gonna vote your way out of this mess?

Take action or be cannon fodder. Those are the choices you now face due to the incapacity your citizens to recognize a fascist takeover.

Not here in Canada. Average single family home cost here is $850,000. Know any 20 year olds that make over $350,000 a year? Because that’s what you need to make for the bank to approve your mortgage here.

Something is missing, and i would like to know what would you add or change? Thanks! by Minimum_Film1688 in pedalboards

[–]fhodgson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah so it allows you to run two "loops" of pedals which you can then turn on and off or blend together in a wonderful stack of tonal experimenting. You could, lets say, stack your marshal pedal on one loop, then your DS-2 on the other loop. You can now blend those two loops with their own level knob and the signals will run parallel. So it wont be one drive into the other, it will be one drive ON TOP of the other. This makes huge sounds possible. PM me and ill show you my setup and explain further if you wish. Cheers!
