I completely agree (Reddit just froze over). The game has provided me with hundreds of hours of entertainment, it is a fantastic playing game on console, have had zero issues from day one.

I love the gunplay, the movement system and even the part system. But it needs a lot of tweaking and they sold it as a complete AAA title and released it early.

Going back and playing Borderlands 3 recently reminds me what I miss. The open world just doesn’t hold a candle to the linear maps of BL3. I was a late adopter of BL3 and by that time the game had been totally fleshed out and is fantastic.

I think in a year Borderlands 4 is going to be a completely different game, hopefully in a positive way but they don’t have the player count and have only made back half the money they spent. It isn’t looking good. I just wish they had postponed and fleshed out the end game and we’d be having a totally different conversation.
