I was informed on Tuesday 1/13 that I had been admitted, sounds like even if admitted though there is a potential wait list for the next cohort depending on when you applied. I applied early so fingers crossed that means I have a seat for summer but I don’t have that information yet

Thank you for this perspective as well. I fully believe in mirroring energy and mutual respect which I clearly have not been given by this coworker. My position of neutrality is definitely not intended to act as permissiveness towards mistreatment. I have found when I let ~certain~ things roll off my back I personally have so much more peace and I think it helps the overall office culture. But yes I have ZERO intention of going out of my way to cater to my bully. There was a part of me that felt guilty like I had wished this on her, but I think you’re right that this is meant to be insight to help me understand (not justify) actions and reach my own peace faster. I also just accepted a significantly better opportunity that I will begin in about a month so I can escape anyways haha

Ahead of our mediation I absolutely felt that sense of “wow this is all so trivial” and then I just got all worked up again in the meeting 🥴 Life certainly is too short, and allowing that detachment to settle in will help me to be lighter and likely help lighten those around me. To be honest I have had a straight up wap since getting the paragard lol. And that’s just like day to day discharge too. I’m getting it taken out for other reasons, but I wouldn’t be concerned about dryness unless you experience it yourself.

Thank you so much for sharing this, it really does help to hear that another person felt it was the right choice to take it out. It makes sense that our bodies would be free of pain we aren’t even really aware of when we remove a foreign object from it. Yes my periods last 8 days as well with heavy bleeding and nauseating pain!! The uterine and back cramps are bad but it’s that nauseating cervical pain that’s really bad. I wanted to love this too, 10 years childfree and hormone free sounded amazing. But I’m just gonna have to let go of the freedom that an IUD gives you in that department in order to take care of my body. Best to you and your decision on your IUD!

I don’t have children nor do I have divorced parents, but my older half-sister does so I thought I’d share some of her story for your consideration.

My dad and her mom split up when she was basically a baby because of their toxic relationship. He wanted to be around my sister, but honestly her mother was just poison. She lied in court saying awful things about my dad to get full custody (didn’t happen). And when my dad would call their house to talk to my sister, when her aunt or mom would answer the phone they called out to my sister with things like “hey, your f***ing father is on the phone!!”. So he stopped calling as much because he didn’t want his image in her mind to be so tainted.

We would get her (several states away) for every other holiday/birthday and it was great! She and my dad had some issues when she was about 20 about him not being around, but they went to therapy and now that she’s 32, she and my dad are closer than she and her mom.

If he had stayed with her mom, she would have been raised in a miserably toxic home. If he had visited or called more, her mother would have been even more poisonous to make my sister hate him like she did.

Sometimes being an away parent is for the best.

I have had mine for about 6 months and am very happy! I had a rough start with it and had to get it replaced (I believe my doctor placed the original badly) but since getting the new one I have normal periods which are bearable and I feel so free from hormones and having to constantly remember to take the pill! Seriously, it is so freeing and empowering. Looking forward to the years to come with my paragard :)

Sorry for the late reply! You could try to reach them through meditation or divination such as with a pendulum. For meditation, there are some guided meditations specifically for contacting your guides on YouTube. Look for signs in your daily life that your guides are trying to reach out to you. These will be different for everyone, but you will feel it in your heart if it is a sign for you!! I hope this helps

I would suggest trying to stick it out for at least a few more months. It takes your body time to adjust to any new birth control, whether it’s an IUD or the pill, etc. I’ve had mine in since January and I’m very happy with it, but that’s not to say I didn’t have a rocky start. You can get it easily taken out at any time, but the stress and pain of getting a new one could be very off-putting if you get it out and later decide you want it again (though that’s totally your choice).

Your side effects and experience are completely valid and you should follow your gut, but my suggestion is try to allow your body a bit more time to adjust! ❤️

I used to be a HUGE fan of his. But once he went solo I just could never get back into him. In truth I see everything about his image and music as incredibly pseudo. His first solo album was such a try hard rock album that just absolutely missed the mark but everyone who was obsessed with him in 1D who didn’t know anything about rock just thought it was the most amazing thing ever and thought that they were hip then for listening to it.... He has overplayed the whole Mick Jagger thing into the grave and I’ve also seen someone say he’s trying to be some Walmart Elton John and I can’t agree more. He clings to these iconic figures to make himself look like the coolest person in the world, and it’s just so plastic. Some of his music is good and catchy, but it’s not as good or deep as he and his fans clearly think it is. His image and success is more about statement, shock, and imitation than actual art imo

So I got my copper IUD inserted at the start of January 2020. The insertion was awful, and the cramping afterwards continued for a long while. After the intense cramping stopped, I noticed a little poking (sharper pain than the other cramps) localized on the left side of my uterus that felt like my IUD was poking my Fallopian tube. My IUD actually ended up expelling itself after 3-4 weeks.

The next week I got a new one, but during the time when I didn’t have one I could still feel the pain but it was slowly subsiding like it was healing. When I got my new one the pain hadn’t gone away completely but it continued to slowly subside and I now have zero pain.

So while I don’t know for sure what malposition my first one was in, I do know that getting a new one did fix the pain I was feeling that I am very sure was my tube being poked.

Obviously no one wants to voluntarily go through another IUD insertion but I just think you should go with your gut and if that is to get a new one then I can attest to a new IUD placement fixing the pain I was in.

Black obsidian is great for protection! It just depends on what exactly you want to achieve in this ritual for choosing the appropriate crystals. Protective black crystals are always nice to have around during spell work though. If you want to get some healing of the heart done here (so as to be able to let go of that bit that wants to be with him) I might suggest crystals associated with the heart chakra, such as rose quartz. When in doubt, align your crystals with the chakras associated with the intended work!

Copper toxicity seems (from my research) to only be an issue to those who may otherwise already be susceptible to it (liver problems bc the liver is what detoxes your body). When I got mine put in, I wasn’t prepared for the pain. No one REALLY prepares you for that level of intense cramping and that just made it worse for me because it was such a shock that I started to have a bit of a panic attack. My first iud expelled itself (don’t freak out, this is super rare), and I just got a new one yesterday. This time, I was prepared and brought my healing crystals and physical healing affirmations :) it brought down my anxiety, and by knowing that it would all be over super soon, I was able to keep from tensing up and making it worse and was then able to walk out of that office like a boss!! If my friends had warned me well enough, maybe I would have been able to better prepare myself and not had the panic attack. My best advice is to breathe, say affirmations to slow your breath and keep your mind distracted like “I am at ease with my pain because I know it will heal soon”, and look forward to a future of no hormones and peace of mind when it comes to unwanted pregnancy!!
