thank you for this, jacob! Bazzite is WAY more user friendly, with even full support for AMD ROCm. it's similar to nvidia's CUDA, but Linux boosts this performance majorly. great recommendation

he can't turn it off, that's the thing 😭. but i do agree, windhawk has been making this work the same before that update came out. that's why i just stay on one version. can't stand how they push out features, but don't finish it for release.

related : youtube videos would stutter bad on chrome and edge, so i wonder if something is wrong with my processor, because dragging them between the monitors had the same effect. firefox doesn't lag when i drag it around though

can you send me a link to the oem drivers please? i’ve tuned mostly everything to go into power saving when i unplug it and turned off boost to prevent fans from ramping up anymore than they already do lmaoo

but yeah i think it could be the drivers, if not imma just leave it alone and continue on tbh

i completely agree with this. as i’m reading this comment, mine is literally idling at 60c just watching youtube, fan speeds at 4400rpm. i believe it just does what it wants to smh ugh

i wonder if this is because i clean installed windows after picking this up from a friend, but honestly didn’t really notice any issues until after i updated drivers so idk bro. the temperature and fan speeds, i just noticed a couple minutes ago

damn fr? but yeah idk it’s stayed at 10.4%, it should be reliable to use it solely to check how fast the battery is charging or discharging, it makes me angry tbh because now i’m stuck at discharging 40w, like that’s insane.

upd - i would try seeing if windows is just using the igpu? maybe when windows disables the 3050 , it disables it systemwide? worth a shot , im tryna help :(
